Not sure tbh, I thought he viewed Bridcutt as his replacement and was happy for him to leave. Maybe you're right.
He had a last minute change of heart as catts was on the way down.

Strange he gave us one of the best safc football nights of my life ...manu in league cup will never forget it until the day i die unless of course the family Alzheimers curse hits.He did said bridcutt could play for real madrid, also thought buckley was the new Stanley Matthews.Ive made the last bit up cos I hated poyets footy, never go back
What a tangled web of shite we weave. We are 1 point ahead of the mighty Accrington Stanley but they've got two games in hand, 17 wins from our last 50 league games. I hope between the lot of them there is at least one person who is not blind and has a loud enough voice to demand the immediate replacement of Parkinson.
I’ll have a big dick if we appoint somebody like PoyetHoping for a quick, ambitious, big dick appointment soon. Our luck has to turn surely!
Advocaat?Hoping for a quick, ambitious, big dick appointment soon. Our luck has to turn surely!
I've never seen a more lucky great escape. We scored 2 goals against Everton off players arses.Advocaat?
Advocaat?

The kebab’s acceptable !!Never go back. Jobs, exes, that kebab you just dropped on the pavement.
One of life’s essential rules.
Put it on another thread but I’ll be amazed if KLD is the only member of the Louis Dreyfus family/company who will be involved with SAFC.
People who haven’t had a look at the size of that company and all the varied businesses it includes, should do so.
There is quite clearly some elite level business acumen involved and I have a hunch that there will be at least a couple of other people from the Louis Dreyfus family business who will be assisting/working alongside KLD.
People of this level will have their eyes very firmly on who does what at SAFC and there will hopefully be no piss taking party going on anywhere.
The real question is "are they investing in Stewart Donald?"
It cost him a £10 million pound debt last time someone did!
I still wonder how/when this will be paid back? Surely no takeover is possible until it is?

I'd imagine it'd be transferred over if the new owners are happy to leave it? I'd prefer they just paid it back at this point if FPP aren't going to get involved in the ownership.
It's not a problem if what changes hands are shares in Madrox (which is by far the easiest thing for all concerned). The debt simply sits in Madrox until repaid by it. The only change will be that the number of shareholders who could fund that alters.
Unless FPP are willing to take instalments, which they’re not, then there is no way they could pay it back now.
They’d probably prefer this takeover not to go through, as they’d probably end up owning a football club by the end of the season.
But would they still owe that £10m?
Yes. It's really not a problem. The loan was to Madrox, and it's down to Madrox to repay it. That situation doesn't change just because the shareholders in Madrox do.
