Bruce Springsteen

Have you seen this site?

You pick the concerts you've seen and its tells you what songs you've seen, songs per album etc 🤓

I use setlists.com a lot like and think I once compiled an excel sheet, but this looks pretty handy!

I think the two remaining songs that I'd really like to see that I haven't are Backstreets (that piano intro man) and Cadillac Ranch.

I've been lucky enough to see the full band version of Thunder Road, as well as Bruce solo with the acoustic (emotional, but the band trumps it). I've also seen the Big Man play Jungleland - special. Lost In The Flood, Blinded By The Light, Darkness from start to finish... been spoiled really.
Have to create an account - can't be chowed with that.

Never guessed I would see him live at SoL, best night, would liked to have had more of the older tunes, but looking back on the videos and photos from that night still gives me goosebumps.

I only got into him AFTER that concert so didn't go. Big, big regret looking back. Remember driving past and it sounding epic so I bought a couple of CD's and have been hooked ever since.

Lucky man! Still hoping he does another tour. Seen him 3 times in Glasgow, once at the stadium of light and twice in New Jersey but always wanted to follow him on a tour of Europe and now that looks like something I'll never manage :(
I seen him in Spain on the 09 tour, was a great show. Crowd seem a bit more lively on the continent

I’d love to see him in USA. That’s my aim if he tours again, hoping for a 2021/22 tour. I’m 40 in august 2022 and a trip to NJ would be a suitable celebration 🤞🤞
Been at a few of those but not as many as you overall. Some people think its weird seeing the same artist that many times but it literally is a totally different show every time . . . as the setlist variety demonstrates

I never understand why people think its weird to go numerous times to see a band / artist that you are into. End of the day, if you know you really enjoy something then why shouldn't you do it?

Personally, I wouldn't go and see U2 five times on a tour of theirs as I know that they plan their gigs in excruciating detail which means that at the most you get 2 or 3 songs changing. But even then I can understand why some people do go that many times (I've usually done 2 on a tour and that's it).

Going to see Pearl Jam on consecutive nights has been outstanding whenever I have done it (know they aren't for everyone). I know fine well that because its consecutive nights that they will totally switch it up. Usually play sets of about 30-35 songs and you'll probably get at least 20 changes on the second night.
New album is out there ;)

Boooooo. Rip off copies of new albums are bad!!!

Must be a lot easier when ya've anly got two crowd pleasers and the rest sound exactly the same like...

I agree

I'd love to see him in the States. To compare. But I'm at a point now where if I'm not in the pit it ruins it for me. Yeah, I keep saying every tour I'll travel around Europe more. Not really done it. And damn. This year has proven to me I should have done.

The crowd are more lively on the "latin" continent. Italy and Spain. Kind of pisses me off that Italy, spain, Scandinavia and now Ireland tend to get the top shows and the UK less so. But our sound laws don't help with curfews and the UK gets more dates than most as he knows we are the largest / most loyal market. But we are a bit miserable. :D San siro was amazing.

South American crowds seem to be the same, maybe because bands don't play there so often, but they also seem to squeeze as many fans into the stadiums as they can. The pitch always seems half empty at the gigs I've been to in UK, even when they are sold out.

As I said....... I know they aren't for everyone.
NB - you do realise that a lot of people could say exactly the same about Bruce don't you?
 You do realise I was winding you up? ;)

That said - Bruce is no stranger to a good chorus and a hook. That's where Pearl Jam fall short for me.

Remember when London turned him off man. Fuckin' arseholes.

I'd love to see him abroad.

South American crowds look wild like. I got me sister the AC/DC at River Plate Blu-ray and they're absolutely fuckin' bouncing.

I've come across a few foreign fans and Springsteen gigs and they've all been completely insane.

The Jungleland intro is outstanding imo too. Never seen it live.

We fluked it on our first Springsteen gig and got in the pit at Cardiff like - class.

We thought we were in at the SoL too but had a reet mixup with the wrist bands and ballsed it up. Me sister got in like the little git. Her boyfriend at the time was working as part of the stage crew anarl, so she ended up with a handwritten setlist and one of his plectrums (absolutely massive things). We've gotten pretty close every other time like n to be honest being tall I don't need to be in there.
