Impossible, the cathedral is full for every match. Was just thinking about it and I actually attended a Newcastle European match at St James' with my mate.
Newcastle 2-1 Celta Vigo in 2006. Goals from Steven Taylor & Sibierski. Proper dull match with about 20,000 there. Main memory is being offered chroizo sandwiches by the Vigo fans on the train back to Durham where we were staying.
aye, to be fair after near enough a decade solid of european football including 2 champions league campaigns and several glamour ties by 2006 the attraction of games against middling opposition had wore off a touchWas just thinking about it and I actually attended a Newcastle European match at St James' with my mate.

. Inspired me to actually check the attendance. 25,079. Forward line of Albert Luque and Antoine Sibierski.Impossible, the cathedral is full for every match.
The Simpleton protests too muchNope
True enough. If you were born in 1979 or 1999 you would have a different perspective entirely.aye, to be fair after near enough a decade solid of european football including 2 champions league campaigns and several glamour ties by 2006 the attraction of games against middling opposition had wore off a touch
Cracking trip that and one I made. 3,000 mags in the ground and 4,000 watching it in the centre of Brugge on a big screen.I’d settle for an annual pre-season friendly against someone like Bruges.
Yeah I understand that entirely to be honest. My dad for example is far more tolerant of Ashley and has hardly ever criticised him. Suppose as he used to go in the 80sTrue enough. If you were born in 1979 or 1999 you would have a different perspective entirely.
Surely not? There have been no positives under Ashley?Cracking trip that and one I made. 3,000 mags in the ground and 4,000 watching it in the centre of Brugge on a big screen.
Yeah I understand that entirely to be honest. My dad is far more tolerant of Ashely and has hardly ever criticised him. Suppose as he used to go in the 80s
I know a few fans from different clubs and they don't think about you at all
Look, of course other fans think we're wankers. You can count on one hand the number of clubs whose fans aren't thought of as wankers by the rest. Leeds, Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Sunderland, they're all wankers.
Plenty of other fanbases have an opinion on us, partly because we get loads of media attention as we're never more than a week away from crisis or calamity. And with that media attention comes the opportunity for some of our lot to act like dicks.
But...my middle boy was born in 2007 so for the first 10 years of his life we were in the Prem then latterly Championship then League One. Despite being exiled he still watches every game live, badgers me to go to midweek away games and doesn't cry because we are signing unknowns rather than Borini, Bent, Gyan etc. Guess he is more grounded than you.Cracking trip that and one I made. 3,000 mags in the ground and 4,000 watching it in the centre of Brugge on a big screen.

His younger brother was at Liverpool for a while and always wore his Sunderland kit to training. Academy director said it was fine as “our captain was from there”.. Could you cope with mediocrity or would you be a City or Liverpool fan if you were exiled?fair play to him. Love to hear that over young kids in or from the north east supporting Liverpool/ Chelsea etc
You’re the most boring fucker on here and that includes the fish.
Tyler has found the cure for Coronavirus and here’s me thinking he was just bizarre nut job
