This whole slips thing needs addressing big time ASAP tbh. Won’t matter today ultimately, but imagine giving kohli or Smith this many lives.
One knock!!! have you forgotten how he won the test along with Woakes or the fact he had scored the most runs in the team all summer.

Coming in each time with the team in trouble

Runs he only had to score because he dropped Mahood and cost us 100+ runs in the first place you mean?

So has he had a good summer with the bat or just one good knock like you said?

:lol::lol:

Such a poor attempt at a windup this

nice try

Just one good knock apparently against a beaten side beggars belief tbh.

he’s averages 56 this summer
One good knock this test. One okay one and quite a few none scores. And 6 drops costing around 200 runs, which is probably about as many as he’s scored with the bat.
One “okay” one in on of our best ever chases in history

you know absolutely nothing about cricket

hilarious making an utter fool of yourself

Ha’way man no shame in giving him credit where it’s due

I’ve said all along I don’t have a massive problem with his batting, and we aren’t flush with batting options. My problem is his keeping is so bad and it will cost us games. Can you imagine what would happen if he drops Kohli on 5 in India this winter - you won’t get another chance and he’ll be on 250.

Yes Woakes was the dominant player in that partnership and done exceptionally well. Buttler held it together well. Wasn’t one you’ll remember in 5 years.

What’s his career average? Still mid 30s at a guess?

You don't mention burns and stokes who drop plenty
