People lost to conspiracy theories

The maths shows otherwise as I have just explained. Even a very narrow beam across those distances would still be killometers wide by the time it reaches it's destination.

Like the Apollo LM, I think your problem is you think anything you don't know the answers to or take the time to understand is impossible.
I actually don't think things I don't know the answer to, are impossible.
I question a lot of stuff that begs those questions and I simply do not accept any answer no matter how official it is.
I accept a lot of stuff without question, as I've already said a while back....but acceptance does not mean I have a belief. It just means I don't feel the need to delve into it.

The stuff I am delving into, I do not accept for reasons given, regardless of people explaining to me that it says in a book or whatever that this is an official truth.
The bottom line is, none of us know the truth to a lot of stuff in terms of this. It just requires people to be honest about it, to themselves and understand that they accept and believe because it's basically customary to adhere to official lines.

The thing is Covid-19 is no way near as bad as its been made out. Half the deaths are "suspected covid 19" not actual covid 19 but they need to ramp the numbers up, why? It will only seriously affect vulnerable people and to anyone else will be like having the flu but the media have got everyone fearing for their lives.

Poster I don’t recognise

Posting about conspiracies...

Thank god you’re one of the normal ones :D every other new poster is a mentalist

@Nukehasslefan is just an attention seeking troll who thrives off the attention people give him — like almost all conspiracy theorists.

You prove them wrong and they deflect. It’s maddening so you’re sucked back in. Stop replying and they go away.
So you're normal if you believe the mainstream media and you are not normal if you believe some of the conspiracy theories, that are out there?? Says it all about you frij

You’re normal if you believe things that are backed up by credible evidence.

If you believe in things despite overwhelming factual evidence to the contrary, or believe in things with no basis in fact at all, then you’re a conspiracy nutter.

I'm not asking you to explain anything to me. I'm simply saying that we are told the earth rotates at over 1000 mph and a laser pointed at a specific thing like a supposed retroreflector would never hit it to come back to source.

It's like sitting on a roundabout and aiming a laser at a person in the playground and expecting it to come right back at you even though your laser aim has missed the person due to your rotation.

you've just ignored everything that's been explained to you. this is turning into the flat earth thread you were always in 😄

I'm not really a one for conspiracy theories, most are a pile of shite. But this UFO shit is the real deal. ;) :)
I think it was you who made the good point that a UFO is just that, i.e. an unidentified flying object, and, obviously, there are loads of examples of these. What they are is the difficult part. I'm not convinced about the alien explanation as, on a very basic level, I don't understand why they would show up in crafts or whatever and then not take contact any further. However, I try and keep an open mind even if the aliens seem a dull bunch. I'm probably more open to them being something 'of this Earth', e.g. military.

You might be an alien yourself as your poetry has a touch of the Vogon about it.

You say that but then theres a lot of 'factual' evidence out there with an agenda. All your 'factual evidence seems to come from the mainstream media from what I can see, and many people dont trust this

What factual evidence am I posting from the mainstream media?

You're making things up. Reading and replying to your posts is a gigantic waste of time. The only saving grace is that by showing you up on a regular basis, other people are saved from your nonsense.

That is something that I have observed. A conspiracy theorists seems to form their own personal view of how the universe should work or look, then if it looks like it should not, global conspiracy.

It is fine just not knowing stuff. That could be at a personal level or just mankind does not know things. Biology is not my thing. I know food, stomach, digestive juices, energy and waste out the bowels, but when you break down the details, I don't know the specifics of why we eat or how it works. I still eat. All the study of the worlds oceans and nobody really knows what happens to basking sharks over winter. They can be seen around our coast in the summer months and then they just go somewhere. Where? Do they still feed? They just don't know. Basking sharks do exist and logic says they continue to exist in the winter.
I do enjoy your posts about space and physics. It's the main branch of science I know least about and your posts have led me to read and learn quite a bit. Thanks.

Where do you get your facts and evidence from then?? Just out of interest off course, what news and media outlets do you use???

No, I haven't ignored anything. Not agreeing is not ignoring.
What I haven't done is accept what I've been told is the supposed truth.

as from the screenshot, you had it explained to you and proven with the universal language of maths but you ignored it - "I'm simply saying that we are told the earth rotates at over 1000mph and a laser pointed at a specific thing like a supposed retroreflector would never hit it to come back to source".

From reputable sources with journalistic integrity. Wherever I mention you'll only hound as not being good enough, because I'll be honest here - you're not a bright person. You really aren't.
Haha, you cant get to me with your personal insults you do it all the time. It doesnt bother me one bit, all I know I've done very well for myself in life, so for someone not 'bright' I'm quite pleased with that. Cheers frij. I dont get your anger towards me mind??

So you can't actually argue with the maths I presented for what you say is impossible? That is not from a book, that is me setting here with pen and paper doing basic trigonometry.

Lets try asking the question in another way, if you fire a laser that is 2mm across at the source, how wide do you think it is reasonable to be after 384,400km. Or another way to ask it is by what angle do you think it is reasonable to spread out (laser beam divergence is the technical term)?

Rain wouldn't come down in droplets it would come down as a sheet of water. This can be proved by emptying a jug of water and observing the results. What we know as rain must therefore be something completely different, probably the work of the Government or Illuminati or summit like that.

I'm not angry towards you. I just don't think you're very bright.

I'm glad for you if you think you've done well in life, I don't wish any harm or ill-fortune to befall you.

I just have absolutely no respect for you, your views or your opinions, because they're based on faulty thinking and junk science.

Well if they did us plebs certainly wouldn't get to know about it.
