Donald not responding to takeover offers?

Oh well then, seen as everything is going swimmingly at safc we should all shut up talking about it and clap our hands like good little boys.

Say nowt, do nowt. Don’t moan when you get served shyte.
Typical rubbish from you, nobody is clapping at anything. It's a fact you or anyone else doesn't have a clue what is happening regarding takeovers. A lot don't believe anything Donald says which is fair enough, but why they believe every word of the newspapers is crazy.

Well, once again we are left to piece together rumors, half-truths, contradictions and what our own eyes tell us to guess what's really going on at SAFC.

To me the most logical explanation is that we aren't for sale, unless someone offers daft money or the chance for SD to stay on and make a profit. He's spinning the yarn because he knows that won't be popular and people want him and his toff mates to go ASAP.

The relationship is completely and irreversibly broken. Not sure how we force him out but we need to try before he has us in league two.

To me we are at a point where he can afford to keep us without investing any money into the club so will sit on his hands until we go up. In the meantime we‘ll sell any asset at the club and bring in frees on low wages. He’s completely distanced himself from it too hence bringing the parasite Rodwell in.

I would not be too sure of that

Not sure how he expects that to happen without improving the squad, which given our lack of academy players to bring through (cheers Stew) and a poor manager in place (cheers again Stew), means spending money.

If he's not going to do that we will only head in one direction. The question is how long until he cuts his losses?

Yes everybody, just to keep Gavrocks happy we will stick with Stewart Donald just in case like.
I want Donald gone but what I don't want is somebody who will keep the club where they are we have seen this club decimated over the years and we have had a billionaire owner. Some people on here would be happy to see him go and not bothered who takes over.
Completely ignoring he was on the verge of selling us to three billionaires until he got greedy and ruined it.

FFS, still defending these people. Genuinely don't understand the mentality of a lot of our supporters.
If three billionaires wanted the club they would have bought it no one is defending them i would like them gone but like I have just replied to another post if it takes a few months to find a new owner that is ok with me as long as it's the right people to take the club forward

Three billionaires did want the club, and as best we can tell they were put off at the last minute by SD pissing about and asking for more than he deserves.

People have every right to be outraged at the way they're treating the club. That people defend them given all we know is ridiculous.

To be fair, it could get a lot worse with this clown, there is only one direction at the moment. He has said he is “fully committed” to selling and then ignores willing buyers, not listens and turns them down, he completely ignores it. He has been proved time and time again to be a lying bastard, yet some on here still don’t believe the Chronicle story, it’s baffling. No one will know what the next lot will be like, even if they have a boat load of cash, nothing is guaranteed. One thing is for sure though, Stewart Donald has openly admitted to wanting to recoup some of the cash he lost at Eastleigh, that isn’t Sunderland’s issue, however he is willing to hang on and it is Sunderland that is suffering. He isn’t “fully committed to selling”, he is fully committed to making a profit whilst covering his losses at another club. He isn’t interested in the future of Sunderland, just his big fat f***ing wallet. He doesn’t care how we suffer, he thought he would make a quick buck but the fucker is so inept, he failed. He thinks he can still get us promoted, yet every decision he has made, every position he has filled, every appointment, every recruit has indicated that he has no f***ing chance. We shouldn’t be made to pay for his loss at Eastleigh, nor should buyers have to bridge his failures. He needs to cut his losses, fuck off as he always said he would and let’s be honest, the overwhelming opinion is he should, not just f***ing hide, fingers in his ears shouting lah, lah, lah. Would I be glad to see him gone. ? Too right I would. Would I be wary of new owners, yes I would cos this fat bastard had me reeled in when he took over. Would that stop me wanting him gone, no it f***ing wouldn’t. There has been absolutely no positivity during his tenure, there is nothing to look forward to whilst he is here, especially thinking Parkinson is the man and someone coming in will have to go some to be f***ing much worse

Well if as you say you dont know then nowt to cry about is there?
Just to keep people on here happy why doesn't he sell to anyone, who knows we might end up with owners like wigan got
This

Seems to me that his strategy is now to keep throwing together a ramshackle bunch of free transfers in the hope that they get us promoted. All the while selling anything that isn’t nailed down to keep paying the bills. If by some miracle this eventually pays off then he’ll sell up and ride off into the sunset with his £15m profit.
That has been it from the start to be honest. The one time he spent money (the club money) was nothing to do with that player and everything to do with his man child like outlook.

Every man has his price or so the saying goes. And I am sure Don has his. If the club gets off to a strong start next season the price he wants will be more achievable. That may be delusional but that could also be what he's hanging on.

Plus there's a raft of clubs in L1 who couldn't afford to test their players and play behind closed doors. Those two financial hits are still very real propositions for next season and neither has been resolved.

We could have a ton of L1 clubs unable to play next season's matches. IF Sunderland aren't one if them Don might see himself in the driving seat in talks with potential buyers.

Problem with that situation though is it might encourage him even more not to sell!

Ive said it before on here, and i will say it again,i dont want any fucker taking over this club and not making a profit. This obsession on here of people making money boils my piss.If and its a big if he has made a profit next season we as a club have been successful.Do i want him to stay no,do i want promotion aye desperately.
Don’t think anybody would argue with your sentiment, but the big problem is if these present owners stay we ain’t going up, there absolutely clueless mate !!!!

They don't have the club's best interest who ever supports these Cheb ends.

Until the club is sold i won't be going to the SOL in fact I will be going to watch my local club a few times Spennymoor but what I have found out in my life is you can never believe anything wrote in the media if the right offer comes in for the club it will be sold one sure thing is it won't be given away for nothing

There are 2 sides to every story and it would be nice to hear things from his side but of course that is unlikely to happen.

If someone has proof of funds though, it would suggest they are fairly serious about taking over the club and whoever they are it would concern me that there is no dialogue between them and the current owners.

No it won’t, if the right offer comes in for the club plus his losses at Eastleigh, then it will be sold. That is the current situation, no one is asking for it to be sold for nothing. Realistically it’s the value of the club, and if you have devalued it, sold off assets etc., failed to achieve your ambition and indeed have gone backwards, then it isn’t worth what you’ve paid for it. That would be the right offer, but it isn’t right for the fat greedy twat

Anything that comes from Craig John is basically the clubs owners statements imo if you look back over time, so wouldn’t draw anything from this other than the owner’s trying to make out there is lots of interest as they always do 🙄
