Braveheart is a decent action movie but historically it is the biggest pile of steaming shit I have ever seen. I wouldn't know where to start and I speak as someone who is Anglo Scottish ancestrally and have great respect for the Scottish part. Yet, I've met people who think it portrays the truth.

Wallace who was lowlander supported John Comyn who Robert Bruce murdered in a church. The Comyn's fought with the support of the English at the Battle of Bannockburn.
