Morning all, weather is looking good here. @McMackem you are not alone with your pain mate but I cannot imagine how bad it must be for you. Hope things pick up soon for you.
@becs if today is the day I hope it goes as well as it can for you.
I don’t know what the day holds for me but hope everyone has a peaceful day.

Morning Hanky mornen all

AOTS for me then

Done in t’office for the day, more to do. So it’s graft, garden & bbq marinated chicken thighs.

One job today is to sort out my chillis. I cut back the multi coloured chilli plant in March, little branches been hanging in conservatory ( Mr popular 🙄) & now need picking off, weshing, drying & crushing. Plant is growing back nicely.

Its going to be an emotional day I feel, daughter had to drive hersel to hospital last neet cos of pregnancy issues ( she’s due in 3 weeks), luckily heard hours later all ok but she’s doing too much. T upset we can’t help. But it was a bad night tbh

Then Becs/Bob

Big meeting with SS etc ref granddaughter on Friday just been emailed to us.

Back giving me jip

Sometimes it feels too much

Avvegudden everyone

I really dont think gps get how serious it is and the consequences it causes...I couldn't even walk when I woke up on Sunday and yes it makes you vomit on occasions...fingers crossed

Boils my piss that I had to pay £270 to a private pain consultant to get the upgraded meds that I need to be able to cope better....as gps aren't allowed to prescribe them because they are expensive...I've worked for 48 years and paid for privilege to have them....
I had to pay for a US doctor to come and visit me in hotel room and then for the meds, was worth every cent to relieve the pain, I understand what you are saying about the gps and NHS but it will be the best money you have ever spent if it works, fingers crossed for you mate and hats off to Mrs MK as well.

I’m waiting for the time to have a major op, Ive put it off for 5 yrs now, guaranteed 6 months min in a wheelchair & at best 50/50 chance of complete success. So I ( along with T’s agreement) have just “managed” it & will do, hence the alternative lifestyle & hols we have & will do as long as poss.
Fuck the cruises that friends have been asking us to do with them, I can do those from a wheelchair ffs.
No particular meds, dropped them. Changed diet, lost weight ( people who know me on here will find that hard to believe 😄), keep as active as I can, try & remember the triggers & just get by with parrots & everyday stuff.
I find staying in one position painful, that’s sitting, standing owt really. Affects my sleeping badly every night
Sorry to hear that Wakey, I don't have an option but to have this next operation otherwise I will end up in a wheelchair, that thought terrifies me...I only sleep 2hrs at a time maximum....the baclofen I think is making me all fuzzy headed and makes me pee a lot but its kicked in with pain relief...I'm more comfortable today as it's a muscle relaxant...I also struggle with doing billing and booking in work and talking to customers etc but Lyn is helping with that as she's a accounts executive so is familiarising herself with the business as if the worse happens she will need my income I've worked really hard to build ut up recently, and I've got a lovley lad I've known for 12 years working for me who will take over eventually....sounds like T and Lyn are cut from the same cloth.....take care mate

Lyn has been there for me every step of the way, it does worry me that weve only been together for 12 years and I was as fit as you could be for a 50 year old back then...she didnt sign up for where we are now....I know deep down that she will keep supporting me but I cant help but worry about it...

And yes £270 will be the best cash I've spent if new meds work...
