Thanks marra, yeah its the one programme I can watch again and again without getting bored and it still makes me laugh. Glad you're enjoying it too. Stay safe marra.
Morning Hank lad and everyone...

Thank you for the best wishes, from this place especially @sismanhatton and @Scorefrom a throw in who have both been awesome and have urged me to be positive through all of this and have both been at the end of the phone for me 24/7...thanks lads....

And thanks to the staff at MK A & E on Sunday under very difficult circumstances, they were amazing, and had me in and out as fast as they possibly could. The prescriptions will be ready for my wife to pick up today, and we're praying that powerful new meds can ease the pain enough until I get to see my surgeon..

.Its difficult to explain damaged nerve pain, it totally changes your personality and puts you in some very dark places and it feels like the end of the World. I woke up on Sunday morning and couldn't even walk to the loo, as every small step sent shock waves of pain right through my entire body....I had to crawl there and back to the bedroom, so embarrassing for a very proud old school man....I would urge anyone reading this who have spinal issues to seek help asap before you end up like me...

Mrs. MK has been a diamond, it cant have be easy living with me recently. As chronic pain can change a person's personality....and she has had her Mam to think about who she hadn't seen for 3 months as she lives in a retirement village. Plus she has a very stressful job, I honestly don't know how she has coped, she admitted last night just how close to a breakdown she has been. I owe her big time, it's her birthday soon and I need to spoil her royally..
She has looked after me through the last few years and especially the last few months. It cant have been easy for her. Hopefully I can get the surgery that I desperately need and in a way what happened on Sunday may put my operation one step closer, fingers crossed ....sorry for the length of my post on this fine sunny morning....enjoy your day everyone....

Sorry to hear this @Mk Mackem, take care marra and hope the prescription drugs help.

Evening @becs

How you doing mate ?

Ho Sis, I think it's our last day of beautiful west, forecast for a few showers typical as my daughters coming up from Southampton and were meant to be having a bbq....

How was that luscious banana desert....

Jane spoils you rotten, we had beans on toast, if it was good enough for Greg Wallace it's good enough for us   ;)

heyho it looks like plan b...Domino's pizzas all round...
Pizzas brought in by robot for you

Morning Sis....thanks for yesterday mate, it lifted my mood....

Dont think Domino's use the bots if they did the pizzas would be stone cold as it's over 2 miles away...may try sainsbury's in Willen as its only 500mtrs away. I'll take a pic of it if they do...

You got them in wellingborough?

Morning all, weather is looking good here. @McMackem you are not alone with your pain mate but I cannot imagine how bad it must be for you. Hope things pick up soon for you.
@becs if today is the day I hope it goes as well as it can for you.
I don’t know what the day holds for me but hope everyone has a peaceful day.

@Mk Mackem has my sympathies, thankfully I am only in a bad way financially with all this - a reminder that health is paramount...

Hello marra...its a nightmare for me...2 yrs ago I was fit as a fiddle, now I cant lift a full kettle ,cant stand or sit in the same place for more than a few mins....

So sorry that you have taken a financial hit, anything you want to share ?

Hi there, little confusion over our names there! Marra, nothing at your level. We're all lucky to have stayed healthy. We will survive this financially just our impending retirement has gone back a few years. We've an accommodation business in Edinburgh - we specialised in Western Europeans and we started losing guests early in March, no income for three months and no reopening date set, the 14 day flight quarantine will damp down most demand for a while, so when we reopen it could be a very slow period with just UK/Ireland and the paydays of the Festival in August and the Christmas markets/New Year celebrations already called off. We got a grant but as directors we can't furlough (our staff are) and aren't self-employed either. Our son does seasonal outward bound work with children in Yorkshire each year - a seasonal worker who doesn't start until April, it was all called off for the year, but as he wasn't working for them in March no furlough. Temp PT at Asda night shift brings him some income, we're doing a heap of renovation but trying to keep costs down. We've no pension, but savings built up which we're chewing steadily through. We were even insured against a 'notifiable disease within 25 miles' but they won't pay out. We're OK, but you see £10 Billion a month going out and think 'where's ours' given we'll all be paying for this for years.
