The club should have waited. No reason to make a decision either way now. Especially after all this moral obligation to stakeholder bollocks.
They keep changing the payment scheme all the time, so don’t think the club has fully made a see decision fully yet anyways
That’s a good point .
But why should we have to gamble on things like that ?
I suppose the club could say that if supporters need to pay by instalments due to their financial situations, then delaying taking payments probably would not be helpful . There would need to be a guarantee of refunds tho.
I think anyone paying in full for next season now is showing a little too much blind faith and misplaced loyalty . That’s just my opinion.
Direct debt scheme keeps changing anyways and the club is refunding the last 3 games. I don’t think they will do us over

It's a tricky one, on one hand the club really needs the money until crowds come back and I'm genuinely worried we could go bust. So I'd like to help like I did when they entered L1 where I got a season ticket for first time for many years.

On the other hand I've got a family and you can't go handing over 400 notes for something that's effectively useless.

And there's the issue of losing my seat with the lads

I voted not renew but I'm still undecided really.

If people don’t stump up and EFL say only a certain % can go in stadium I bet ally will regret it. Glad I will be ok.
The thought of another Bobby Moore-esque performance from Alim Ozturk, Charlie Wyke leaping majestically at the far post, Max Pirlo pulling the strings in midfield, will surely leave thousands who dont renew, very much regretting their decision.....

Like I’ve said before I’m a Sunderland fan and will attend what ever team is out there.

Get the impression most on here will not be watching Sunderland in the future by the sounds of this thread. Hopefully many will still go as the club needs it even when those chancers are here
The whole point is that people can’t go and the club’s solution is to charge their season ticket holders disparate prices for a streaming service the club sells on SAFCSee for far less than adult season ticket holders will pay.

It will be reserved if you cancel.

yeah this is what i read, all current seats will remain reserved for the moment, and the early bird price will be there until there's a clearer picture, so no harm in cancelling if its a possible financial concern for some folk... I'm undecided, Heart says renew, head says be savvy financially, i've taken a little bump in money recently, so £435 could come in handy, especially seeing i could be paying £435 for a "free streaming pass" . Like a few folk i'm paying for 2 season tickets so why would i want 2 passes to stream

Mulling it over to cancel ours as I can’t justify both of us paying for a stream. It’s enough paying for one but for two or more I’m the same household it’s a tad expensive (as is 1)
I’d hate to lose my seats but this should have been thought about a lot more, and if they only took the first payment and considered options thereafter I’d possibly keep them.

unless they pitched it that i'd be buying my 2021/22 season ticket now, and my free streaming pass is for the 20/21 season

Undecided but minded not to renew.
Ive had a season ticket since 2003 and I do a lot of the away matches. But i dont want to lose my loyalty points however theres two season ticket holders in my household so its very likely going to be £620 shelled out for a 'free' streaming pass with closed grounds which i cannot justify spending that much money on.
The club need to have another look at this issue of the same household having multiple season tickets and also a loyalty points guarantee if you renew again as soon as grounds reopen.

Sunderland till I die...or until I dont like a statement in a pandemic

Can see why you got banned TBF
For not agreeing with people? Yeah that is a banning offence. To be honest I am surprised you haven't been touted as a Mag dduevto your constant anti Safc posts
