Talk of not being rivals anymore is foolish and disrespectful to the actual rivalry. A lot of clubs, clubs more successful than both of us would love to have something that we share. Love it or hate it we need to never allow it to be diluted.
The concern to me is that if there is a further gulf ( and this is all hypothetical ) is that younger generations don’t experience it or aren’t as exposed to it, worse still you lose a lot of that young generation as we’ve seen before.
However, the vast majority will continue on with it regardless of each other’s situation good or bad. There’s been to much gone on to simply dismiss it or be pompous enough to suggest we’ve moved on. I’d be repulsed if that ever happened.
I have complete authority to confirm that even if (and again a massive if ) we were playing a champions league semi final the night you were away to Fleetwood I’d still be checking my phone to see how yous were getting on ( there’s a compliment in there believe it or not ).

I don't get this: rivalry for what? We want to get into the Championship and they want to a avoid it. Maybe when we get back into the Premiership, then I'll agree.

Instead of keep making this stupid remark insinuating that i am the same poster as Sima why don't you just click the report button and tell your genius theory to one of the moderators.
I'm sure when they ban someone they don't want them coming back under a new name to circumvent the ban so they would be more than happy to look into it.

Yet you're all over this board. What years did you challenge for the title when we weren't even in the same league by the way? You make it sound like it was a canny number of years. From memory I can only recall 95/96. The following season we were both in the same division. In Robson's third placed finish season when you 'challenged' Man Utd and Arsenal we were in the same division. You didn't challenge for the title any other season. Arguably 94/95 when you had a cracking start but you ended up finishing sixth.
