Nah they'll still hate us. Case in point is Leeds Utd. Man Utd fans (proper ones) still despise them. Not as much as Liverpool but they still hate them despite Leeds being in a lower division for almost two decades. I think the Mags would love us to rot in League One for a good few years (which probably will happen) but I think a fair few will miss playing us. They'll want us to be in the same division so they can smash us.

They will still hate us, course they will but there’s no doubt that if they end up being good and challenging for things they’ll develop new rivalries.

Like I said City were up Liverpool’s arse for years, a kind of the enemy of my enemy type thing but now there’s City fans saying Liverpool are their most hated rival. You’ve only got to look at twitter when either team are featured in a news story, the other teams fans absolutely swamp the comments, modern fans I suppose

The amount of mags signing up and posting around the clock shows that this won’t happen. They’ll remain obsessed with us and attempt to rub our noses in any potential success. We are their entire world.

I think a lot of Mags are still bitter about us sending them down and rubbing their noses in it with the plane flyover which personally I thought was a bit small time. (The flyover that is). Also they've never had a chance to beat us since 2011. OK they've loved our self destruction but they never got to stick any nails in our coffin as we passed each other. The number of Mags at our away games suggests that they're still bitter as fuck. I think they'll enjoy rubbing our noses in it more than any on the field success they have.

I agree with this like. To me Newcastle’s only rival will always be Sunderland, regardless of what division we are both in.
I agree with a previous post, to us the rivalry will always be there but if the deal goes through and they spend successfully, we will become irrelevant to them in terms of rivalry

We will never be irrelevant as much as you want to think it.

The fact yourself and a long list of other whoppers sign up here pretending to support us like yourself.

Then you've got the endless number of mags who just come to take piss thinking they are getting bites.

We will always be your world and you demonstrate it every day on this forum.

It's weird behaviour weve broken you with the 6 in a row.

The person you quoted was talking about the comparison between Manchester City and Manchester United, with Man United having a bigger rivalry with Liverpool over the years.

You have said the rivalry could become a lot less, as if this takeover is a guarantee of success, and as if we won't ever get back to the Premier League.. and in that time, you can forge a rivarly close to what we have, with Leeds.

Maybe you can fuck off to a Leeds board, tit.

You would think they would have learned over the years to reign it in, but they never fail. The have some monster sized egotistical opinion of themselves that nobody outside of Newcastle understands.
You're pretty much wrong on every assumption there.
My original point was simply the longer our two clubs remain so far part the more the sense of rivalry will diminish. I never mentioned the take over or success or any thought that you wouldn't get back to the premier.
If in two years you are back in the premier the rivalry will be back as strong as ever.
If in 10 years we are still 2 leagues apart I think it will be less. (not saying it will take you 10 yrs to get back to the premier before you piss yourself like a little fanny)

Nor it'll take us more than ten years man.

Piss off elsewhere man, your patter is dire.

Constantly looking for people to bite away at your shite posts because you have a little stump on and on your high horse because you are going through a takeover, sad as fuck.

My personal choice if i had a genie in a bottle would be for you to stay in league 1 and we get to smash you in the league and FA cup every season. (i don't think you will be in League 1 long)

Yeah I'd want the same in your position. I personally think we'll get back to the Championship within the next three seasons but I think we'll be stuck there for years. It's a tough league.

Don’t flatter them. Take a look at social media, there’s been regular SAFC related stuff posted from nufc fans/accounts since this took off. Understandable because I've no doubt we’d be doing the same if the roles were reversed, but one thing the gap between the 2 at the moment with us in League 1 has proved is that we definitely haven’t become irrelevant despite what some of them would have you believe.
Fun 88 their twitter account is embarrassing every other tweet is aimed at us, embarrassing Kernts

not looking for people to bite you're just a touchie fanny getting yourself worked up over the potential take over.
not wanting to point out the obvious but if you're going to get upset when a Newcastle fan gives their opinion maybe avoid the thread that's all about Newcastle.

You hadn't posted on the SMB since May 22nd 2018, your first post back was in the NUFC takeover thread you absolute belter.

I think you would have got back this season in the playoffs had the season played out.
can't see it taking long, you are the biggest fish in the pond and i think covid-19 will hit others finances harder than yours so you should be in a even stronger position next year.
I agree i think you will struggle in the championship, well maybe not struggle but I don't think you will be challenging for a good while for promotion unless you get new owners willing to invest big money.

Do the mugs have a decent site? This could be the reason why so many are on here.

Come on now Andy...I thought you were on here 'because you are a social character and want to discuss various topics with people who want to engage with you'

That's not a very nice or social way to talk now is it? Tut tut.
