You hadn't posted on the SMB since May 22nd 2018, your first post back was in the NUFC takeover thread you absolute belter.
That's because the take over has been the only topic of interest we have had in common since 2018. Once the take over talk is over you probably won't see me for another two years.

I think you're a lovely poster and are welcome on here whenever

Fun 88 their twitter account is embarrassing every other tweet is aimed at us, embarrassing Kernts
Tweeting about us getting beat off Burton 2 years ago the other day.
I think a lot of Mags are still bitter about us sending them down and rubbing their noses in it with the plane flyover which personally I thought was a bit small time. (The flyover that is). Also they've never had a chance to beat us since 2011. OK they've loved our self destruction but they never got to stick any nails in our coffin as we passed each other. The number of Mags at our away games suggests that they're still bitter as fuck. I think they'll enjoy rubbing our noses in it more than any on the field success they have.

I’ll add let’s all laugh at Sunderland editions 1 & 2, let’s all laugh at Sunderland signs etc. Our plane flyover was their idea to begin with. We will always be their world.

So there hasn't been one other thread, either football wide, or generic stuff in any of the other sub-forums, you have found relevant to post in, since 2018?

You are full of shit and have been outed as a typical Mag with an overly-inflated opinion of themselves who comes on here, looking for bites and to wind people up.

Sad as fuck.

Don't know if there have been threads i would have found interesting, haven't been here to see them

I actually came on to post that I watched Sunderland 'til I die and to say i thought it was a really good watch and thought both your club and fans came across well in it.
I think that might have been my second post i made since coming back.
The big massive fuck off thread talking about the Newcastle take over caught my eye, I found it a conversation of interest so i joined in.
There are no other topics of particular interest to me on here so once this one is done and dusted i'll no doubt be off.

I think the Rivalry is already getting less, its born from competition in the same league. The longer the two teams stay apart the less it gets especially in regard to young new fans.
Not saying our teams will but if we stay in the premiership never looking like being relegated for 10 years and you stay in league 1, if that's all young fans have known they won't even be on each others radar.
Even when i look at myself I used to check the Sunderland score as soon as the games finished on a Saturday obviously hoping you lost.
This season I have often not bothered to find out if i'm out of the house, I have found myself saying to friends who are Sunderland fans on Monday/ Tuesday how did you get on at the weekend and not being arsed either way if you won or lost.

What utter piffle.
Sunderland and Newcastle have hated each other as far back as The Battle Of Boldon Hill, and will always be rivals
And I reckon any fan of said clubs who says they don’t check the others result, is lying. Without our rivalry, both clubs would be lesser for it.

Also, there’s some right quims on this thread, worrying about their takeover, and almost giving up.
Fuck them. No matter who owns them, they’ll always be a bunch a deluded insecure conceited gobshites.

Just out of interest, how much do you think it would cost to build a new state of art training ground and carry out a revamp of the ground?
Well, if we're realistic and say that ti's not going to rival Man City, or Real Madrid, probaly c£30m for the training facilities and c£10m on the ground?

never said we won't be rivals, nor that i don't check your results.
i was just agreeing to the point the other lad made that it lessons when we are divisions apart and will continue to lessen the longer that goes on.
I also added that is more the case for younger fans.
I can remember the hard time you lot gave us when we nearly went into the 3rd division.
I remember me returning it in spades in the 90's
I remember taking it for 6 in a row
and giving it back as you dropped into the 3rd tier.
All i am saying is the longer the teams remain apart the less we feel the rivalry.
if we are in separate divisions for another few seasons i don't think it's controversial to say a young lad of 18 that started to go when he was 10 isn't going to feel the same sense of rivalry I have when he has never been to Tyne Wear derby.

When I was younger and we were challenging for the title and playing in Europe and you weren't even in the league I can honestly say I never once thought about the Derby. I'd imagine in years to come if a similar scenario occurred (not saying it will) that you will find a similar theme. It would be exactly the same if the tables were turned too.

Even 15 years ago when you were being relegated on record low points total (at the time) I cared very little. For the rivalry to truly thrive both teams need to be able to give it a real go.

The fact we had an influx of gloating spanners on here when it was revealed you lot are selling your soul to the devil sort of negates your point.

Edit also let's not forget your largest away following last season was to little old Sunderland. Whether you like it or not the rivalry will always be there and our recent utter domination of th fixture still pisses you lot off.

No it doesn't. As it currently stands we are still shite. We could feasibly go down and you could feasibly go up. We could be playing each other next year. It's not the same at all.

Yes it does. The rivalry regardless of division will always be there. You can pretend otherwise if it makes you feel superior

Mad as the mags don’t see us as rivals anymore, yet sign up and post on here everyday.

It’s like telling an ex on Facebook how they don’t care about them anymore after being dumped.

Full marks on Mag bingo.

You would honestly think that you are one of only two or three clubs ever to play in Europe the way you bleat on about it, It's laughable.

You have challenged for the League on 2 occasions, 23 years ago.

I wonder if Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, United, Chelsea or Leicester didn't 'think' about derbys against Spurs, Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, City or Forest (in respective order) during the periods they were in the CL or competing for titles.

Utter garbage.
