Sweden seems to think so.Lets all go out have a party or at least a drive no harm in it
That's exactly what I'm seeing while driving around at work. Very few on the streets but I must admit I've been surprised by the amount of cars on the road.
From what I’ve seen personally social distancing Is being obeyed to the letter of the law.
Feels like there's a lot more traffic on the roads than there was last week. Still much less than normal, but a noticeable difference.

You did nowt wrong stop bitingBecause a party is the same as staying in a car after driving to the shops and ringing for a takeaway. You're comparing chalk to cheese.
Yes honestly.
when I’ve been out walking etc people are purposely keeping out the road of one and other, the odd time there is a chance someone is going to cross your path they stop to let you pass first etc to maintain the distance.
Queuing in shops peeps keep 2m ish away from one another.
delivery drivers are dropping gear on the neighbours door steps then walking to the end of the path out the way etc.
Roads are dead.
That’s my take on it anyway some might experience different.
Speaking to people I know it’s the middle aged Facebook type who are having a mental breakdown over it.Exactly as the above in Hartlepool, well the posh bit.
Which is fine as long as the family who’d be attending live within the house only.Wait till Sunday the weather is meant to be good, bellends will be barbecuing

Currently reaping the government's policy of allowing the likes of Cheltenham, and other events to go ahead. This and their original lack of social distancing clarity....
It's not just the economy is it, as it's people's sanity and well being also, along with health given lack of movement and even sunshine. If we help protect the old and vulnerable by them self isolating (they really still need to unless they wanna chance it of course). Maybe supplying them with PPE so they can get a bit further than the doorstep and do a bit more in life until a vaccine comes about. With major testing to catch infection and the antibody test to allow those who've had it a bit more freedom will be great. Also people should ideally be looking at using that phone tracking app, if it comes about, to help isolate breakouts then hopefully the majority of the population may be allowed a bit more freedom. Sadly this means that some will still lose their lives but it won't be anywhere near what we're seeing in some countries around the world, including our own. It’s critical that people do catch this virus at a slow rate otherwise we will be in lockdown until a vaccine is created and issued to everyone.
The balance is saving lives v the economy, the harsh reality is the economy will always win, it has to return to normal as quick or quicker than our neighbours.
Certainly along SR6 there is people out every day when I go for my walk, but 99% are very respectful of each other.
I don’t see any problems out there now, maybe it’s isolated down here in SR6 ?
Allowing 3-4,000 Atletico fans to travel from one of the most affected cities on earth to roam freely in Liverpool on the 11th of March beggars belief.
I think people in the main are playing by the rules and being very very sensible ,especially up in the north east.
Most of those in these death figures will have contracted the virus when the UK was business as usual (so you're talking around 2-3 weeks ago now).
So expect the rise to continue until maybe next week. If the lockdown is working we will begin start to see figures reduce. If you've been following the guidance the past 2 weeks and are not yet showing any symptoms, then you've already mitigated your chances of contracting it substantially (for the time being).
But absolutely no need to consider any further measures at the moment.
I know of 3-4 families who are like this. They don’t know each other but they all share the same trait of being lazy couch potato’s who are lapping up sitting about as that’s what they want to do in normal circumstances.Pisses me off the people who get annoyed at those out for daily exercise.
The softer more reasoned approach seems to be the primary tactic from HM Gov and it's working so far.
On Tuesday an increase in vehicle movement was flagged as 'disappointing', yesterday the levels dropped again significantly. As a nation of people we are being asked to take responsibility, listen and act. So far we are and I would rather that was the approach than start hoying up military road blocks and create unnecessary social tensions. People forget how far we how come as a society in a very short space or time during this crisis, just by being 'asked'.
Let's keep it that way.
i`ll be in and out, i`ve hit yet another bank holiday call outAfter yesterday deaths I hope we get further lockdown measures. Us and the USA are accelerating at a alarming rate. Easter weekend next week is going be a rite shit fest if the weather picks up like predicted. Can you imagine how many people go out good Friday. Scary thought. The government are full of shit.
