Sorry if SEB, but I saw somewhere that Barcelona have been given permission to sign an emergency forward due to a long term injury to dembele.

I find it ridiculous that a club that size needs permission to do this. Just call up one of the kids to fill his spot.

Apparently it's a la Liga rule that has been in place for ages, something daft like if you have 2 or more long term injuries you can sign an emergency from another la Liga team, think Suarez is knackered as well as Dembele.

Apparently if Barça meet the release clause of a player they’ll be able to go but then the team affected won’t be able to sign anyone even though they are now a player short!
