What a farce this is. Leganes getting well and truly fucked over here, all because one of the biggest, richest clubs on the planet apparently don't have a big enough squad.
I can tolerate the concept, to some extent, for goalkeepers since it's a specialist position. But for outfielders it is a disgrace. And at the very least it should be restricted to loans only.

They’re not bitching about it. They’re taking advantage of rule that was already in place like smaller teams have.
It’s the first time a big club has used it and it has highlighted how stupid and short-sighted it is. Hopefully they can amend it or scrap it ASAP.
Leganes have been shit on and are powerless to do anything about it. Although they are getting €20m for Martin Braithwaite, a player they paid just €5m in the summer.
