Save Seaburn



In all the years of walking the dag on the beach what i thought (until this morning) was a disused storm drain directly opp South Bents Ave has been discharging storm water onto the beach WDNWL

Aye, the quay often has some good deals on prawns when a boat has a good catch. How the fishermen make money catching crabs is beyond me, you can buy them for £3 a kilo and that’s with it being marked up twice!

Couldn't believe how cheap the massive ones are. A load of Chinese students were in buying about a dozen when I was last in. I'm sure we all remember doing similar back in our student days. :lol:

The best bait for lobster is crab. Useless fact. But you’re not allowed to use brown crab as bait in pots.

It definitely has some leads on there. A few months ago, a thread discussing Miller was closed for further comments when a few nimbys spat their dummy out as it wasn’t a negative one about the development.
The penny looks like is finally dropped that the main ss gobshites have caused more harm than good as there’s mutiny in the ranks.

ss is a busted flush and needs to shut down immediately.

I don’t blame them, they’re insular aggressive bullying arseholes that really don’t have the areas best interests at heart. They’ve got everyone’s backs up and hopefully it will implode leaving a space for sensible discussion.

A few of them are canny. Angela (hello Lego Head :lol:) always seems nice and suggests a reasoned discussion over a coffee.

Kath was never interested in anything other than the view from her house (and I understand that entirely).

JP is a broken man and seems to only want to argue and call everyone racist.

MH is a bully who I’ve witnessed browbeating people, but when confronted retreats.

Like I give a shit, the damage is done now, the absolute bellends have made enemies of the council and pretty much everyone outside of seaburn and south bents are beyond bored of you. Whatever you do from now on will only be causing more harm than good so knock yourselves out.
