I dont see the obsession with people saying we havent/arent spending money... I understand what people are getting at with SD's comments but if you can improve the quality of the squad without spending large transfer fees then surely thats a bonus... We are still probablies paying very good wages for league one standards

They are from Bristol City who play in the Championship so they are bound to be brilliant. It is just we don't know them.

If people are brought in they should be better than the current first team. That's how teams improve.

You are right but i think what he is getting at is they have to earn their place, thats how both players and teams improve, by competition for places

I’m not sure he’s necessarily what we need (could do with a left sided equivalent I reckon) but he does seem to have good pedigree. Plus as someone who’s played full back and centre back he should be capable of continuing the overlapping full back role should Willis be out/unavailable. Again, hardly barrel scraping.

Wonder what’s happening with Semenyo! Whether it’s Bristol or him delaying the move.

They want another forward in. Their Nketiah deal fell through so the Semenyo deal has been delayed
