RAWA Minutes from RAWA/Club Meeting.

RAWA have gone about this in entirely the correct way. They could have walked out of the meeting and gone straight to any of the gutter press and blown this apart. However the have been calculated in their approach, but remained professional. They didn't even have to give anyone the rope to hang themselves. In my opinion they got the result that needed to happen without getting their hands dirty and still remain in a position to stay in dialogue with the club.
That's bang on. Rawa were in a very challenging position but they've walked a fine line to maintain club relations whilst challenging the club on things and being as transparent as they can.

Does nobody challenge anything he says? Or does he just get to say what he wants and move on to the next question. There’s plenty in that that’s debatable at best!

Especially this bit!

'SD acknowledged that previous owners have had issues with personal abuse, as have some of the players and he had himself faced physical abuse.'

Really sick of Donald and co now. Lies and half truths constantly. Seems to contradict himself every other sentence. Its becoming very hard to attend now

NF agreed that recent performances have been disappointing and when appointing the new manager, SAFC probably spoke to everyone who has been mentioned in press but, for whatever reason, did not want to come

Looks like confirmation that Parkinson wasn't first choice. Maybe that story about them f***ing Ainsworth about over money and being told to do one has some merit?

Well those minutes are a complete whitewash job. They are also a load of b**locks! ..... Everything is alright and we just have to be patient for the long term results. Don't think so! On current performances there may not be a long term.
Would love to have seen the original minutes.
BTW, what does Louise Wanless actually do, other than act as a cheerleader for the owners?

Very depressing read imo. They think they've got the right recruitment team with Coton et al, they're obviously thinking Parkinson is still the right man and going nowhere, Premier League footy further long the line than I'd like to think "if we get this right, fans can expect to have a realistic shot at getting back to the premiership", not too enthusiastic about FPP taking over altogether. Just wish SD and his crew would just fuck off.

Continually bigs himself up and loves telling people how impressed fpp are with him! Load of absolute Bollox.

Only the pub and mates to look forward to. This ship is sinking faster than the Titanic, yet the Captain is living in a fantasy. This board meeting will most likely be more bad news with more spin on it than an Aussie bowler. Fking depressing.

If it's right about one of them attending the board meeting they're probably happily blowing smoke up Donald's arse so that they can get a level of access you'd never normally get when giving a loan, meaning they can get much more detail before deciding whether to buy the club outright

What do you want them to do? The procedures for the minutes are laid down as a consensus, and conform to EFL requirements. All that RAWA releasing them would achieve would be get them excluded from future meetings.
Hear what you are saying but it just means that they then become added to a long list of such groups when it was thought RAWA would be different when it started up, so waste of time really. Appreciate their hands are tied though and theyve done plenty other good stuff.

Not convinced by that at all. I think he's deluded.

It's also all well and good bringing in players for the future, but we need better first team players asap, not like for like squad plodders or kids that aren't good enough to get a game.

All well and goid targeting loans but our loan signings so far have been canny poor.

Half way though and it’s the same old being repeated. “Coton doing a good job, PP the right man, everything going to be ok cos we’ve got a scout”

Yet no evidence to suggest why. What exactly has changed? What is the strategy? Are we carefully monitoring stats or are we relying on old school scouts that are stuck in the past? The 5 year plan was brushed over, why? Because they likely won't have one.

Respect anyone giving their time to meetings like this and fair play if you think it’s making a difference.

Personally it sounds like an absolute waste of time. Complete lip service.
