undecided voters

Look at the state of our public services and the NHS are in. Look at the rise of food banks across the country and child poverty.

How could you vote for another five years of this. Simply defies belief for me.
The public services were never good.
Before you vote consider this....If all if the leaders died today and we still had to go ahead with the election; and you read all of the manifestos without knowing which party it belonged to; and you matched the manifestos up with your personal values and your vision for our country and society compared to what it is today - right now; then you might have a chance of voting with personal integrity....just an idea of course.
this should be part of the school curriculum. Fuck sex education it’s all around them. Get them taught how and why to vote.

Vote for who you want, people jumping in with "Vote Labour" or "Vote Conservative" man - its you're own decision so do what's right for you.

Each to their own but if you can't get behind this Labour manifesto then i'd question if you've ever been a true Labour supporter. To vote for the Tories, out of a dislike for Corbyn, absolutely baffles me.
i make this point almost daily when people say ''i'd vote labour if it was anyone but Corbyn''
There seems to be some misconception in this country, i'd say its been leading up to it for years with reality TV shows that you are voting for a PM, not the party and the manifesto behind them.

Baffles me, it's not the f***ing X-Factor, it's your future you are voting for.

I always vote - people died to keep us free to vote so I feel I owe it to them. I also like to moan a lot about the state of things and if I don’t vote, I don’t feel I can moan with a clear conscience
Bit dramatic, the way I see it, everything you see in politics is an illusion, behind the scenes the money men always get their way, democracy in this country has become nothing more than an illusion, and the government always gets in

Exactly, im labour, a lot of my friends are Tory.
So fuck, i'll still get pissed with them, the day i let the political affiliations of others become a point of contention among us, thats the point that politicians have got what they wanted and created divisions between people and class.

TBH - they are all saying they will open the purse strings - one issue for me is that if Labour get in is will they end up bankrupting the country like last time - there does need to be spending; however, this needs to be measured and costed IMO
Bankrupt the country like last time? Personally I think the last Labour government was quite successful in managing the 5th biggest economy in the world and did a lot to improve people’s lives. The Tories have successfully rewritten history and some on the left may disrespect the ideological impurity of the Blair years but you can’t dispute the figures. All there to be googled if you so wish.

Labour
Before the 2008 crash, national debt as a proportion of GDP was 36%
Immediately after the crash, when Brown bailed out the banks (preventing, it has to be said, UK savers losing all their hard earned cash) debt as a proportion of GDP was 65%.

Tories
As of March 2019, national debt as a proportion of GDP was 85.2% (despite austerity so where’s the money gone some might legitimately ask)

Having said that, I’m no fan of Corbynomics and do fear that the projected borrowing in their fully costed manifesto is extreme and will have a detrimental effect on the economy ..... rising interest rates, capital flight, crowding out ... It’s always the poorest who are hit the hardest when an economy fails and that is my genuine fear. Nowt against Corbyn personally.

I have no idea who the fook to vote for on Thursday. I won’t vote Tory, I wish Labour had an economic plan I could vote for.

Reactions: GTG
I find politics very odd, we accept they constantly lie and are often far more interested than making the other side look bad than doing the right thing for people in this country.

Whole set up needs changing.

Cannot disagree with that, absolutely spot on, although other than no one voting (will never happen) what can we do?

Aye, I'm not voting. Wouldn't be happy voting to support any of them.

Inexcusable, imho, but if you're planning to use the time you save to further your studies of yellow card distribution in the major European leagues, then I might let you off just this once.

More seriously, I would like to see us introduce a system of compulsory voting. similar to Australia, with financial penalties to 'encourage' people to exercise their democratic rights which are denied to many around the world. Anyone not voting should also be denied the right to moan about anything for the next 5 years. Respect the vote!

The manifesto seems to be unrealistic though. As me Dad always says "if sounds to good to be true....". He knows his only chance is by putting a dent in the Tory majority and has offered a fantasy to do it. I think anyone believing that they can actually deliver what's been promised is a little gullible.

Hmmm, you're absolutely right marra, it does seem a bit ambitious. Let's just continue with the 9.5 years of a clusterfuck of a Tory government to be on the safe side.
