This board and our fans are toxic

most of these players will never play for a bigger club

Which should be a glaring warning for others to not come to the club. It is a career destroyer.

Fans are shit, players are shit, board are shit, stadium is shit, VAR is shit, football is shit.

Suppose everyone should be falling over themselves with applause for the 7th away defeat off the trot.

People are worried where the club is heading. Don’t forget this is the lowest position the club has ever been in, in its history.

The fact the owners have been caught out a few times talking out their arses, naturally will get people posting about it on here. We aren’t any different to any other set of supporters.

OP should've checked out the Oxford message board round about the time these jokers set up their stall.

Any player we sign should be absolutely buzzing to play here regardless.

We need a better manager, it’s that simple.
Being the operative word. Why on earth would a player begging to play for us and at our wonderful stadium be put off by a manager? Shocking argumentation.

Wheres that claxon again?

Professional internet fans are becoming very tiresome. The type where sitting at home to update Facebook scores rather than actually go to the match. The same people replying on the fan pages time & time again with the same shite. Page owners updating statuses 20 times a day being dramatic to get replies when there hasn’t been a game for 10 days. They create a public view of a club that ends up representing us all to the outside world.

😁

Me too a t.

Its not the fans fault that players make a pass and then stand still. Sometimes the pass will get to the intended red and white shirt as well!!

I'm not f***ing toxic, there's nothing I want more for SAFC than for them to be successful, I cant do anything about getting there.....the people who can are wasting the opportunity!
Safc. The only club in the world that has fans who don't like losing.

Or shambolic ownership and management

Not a popular opinion but it's a fact we are becoming toxic. The team is woeful and playing without confidence. It's not a lack of effort it's the fact that the team is much weaker than this time last year and even then you could see our weaknesses across the park.
If I was a potential buyer or player and looked at this board I'd be keeping away from the place as it's a career threatening move.

its funny, toxicity diminishes when effort and wins are there - we'll turn it round. Sunderland can be a negative city mind.

for what reason would they have to be buzzing?

think its fairly clear that this is not a club that anyone actually wants to play for otherwise we wouldnt have to offer stupid money to get less than average players to come, only for them to then cruise by until they can leave or we're stupid enough to throw more money at them with a new contract.

Another complete and utter myth.

I'd say more pungent than toxic. The mix of onions, burger and polo mints was a bit off at the weekend.

How do you want supporters to react when the highlight of an away day is popping into a shop for some Cornish made fudge? "Oh, we're heading for the 4th Division but at least the rum & raisin was nice."
