I could understand the head of academy having an issue with the manager but the assistant telling the manager what he should be doing? Nah.
We have arguably the best academy in the country, but our retention is poor as we're not currently an attractive proposition.
Experience where, at Whitby town and South Shields?

I am actually not really obsessed or even dislike Newcastle, calm yourself down! I have followed Benitez's career for years due to having lots of Liverpool supporting mates, I always said he was overated and this is further proof.

I think I recall hearing he created the most scoring chances of any Newcastle player in the second half of 18/19 (none converted obviously). Keeps getting fouled running at defences creating set piece chances (like the one that led to Clark's goal on the weekend) - imo looking at who gets fouled most is usually a good indicator of who is most dangerous in any side and he gets fouled plenty.
But aside it's obvious watching his pace unsettles defences and keeps teams from getting too confident in attack. Tracks back. Good player.

Give over man, it's nothing to do with who signed him and everything to do with his performances. There's plenty of Newcastle fans who are criticising him for his failure to score and there's plenty that are pleased with his performances.

Depends on the remit from the head of the academy, he might want player development and the manager looks like he going against the plan.....reminds me of Crimson Tide....

There’s a raft of evidence to suggest that Steve Bruce isn’t as good a football manager as Rafa Benitez is. Their comparative PPG at Newcastle United, for starters.
Mad how such is the level of disdain for how high we regard our previous manager, that Steve Bruce and what looks to be all of his signings are getting praised on a regular basis.
