Coventry fans, just stating the fact that every club has dickheads, it's how it goes as for me not putting up a fight that would set a good example right? Fighting 3 teenagers in front of a toddler.
Aye, teach her how to fuck someone up. Daughter been coming with me to Jui Jitsu for the part two years she's only 7 but I have no doubt when the time comes, when nessacary, she will be more equipped to handle things.

Robins is doing an excellent job, considering what he has to work with.
I'm sure he'll move on to bigger and better before long.

Is Sunderlands fan Base 90% women and children? All I hear is "Coventry Fans punched a baby in the face and then drop kicked a nun, I saw it!"

Feckin eejits, nothing of the sort happened. A few pillocks launched empty bottles off the tier which was stupid. But they didn't "attack families" and anyone who says they did is a liar.

Google "Bandwagon effect" "Confirmation Bias" and "Continued Influence effect"

Its astonishing how prevalent it is amongst your fans. Even in your rows with Portsmouth the aftermath is the same. Maybe something in the water? Tempted to write a thesis on the subject.

f***ing hell this thread is pathetic man. People throwing insults backwards and forwards over the internet at each other and trying to justify themselves. Drumming up some false rivalry over something that happened decades ago.

Coventry, like or not, have had a very good start to the season and were also one of the best teams we played last year too. Them, like ourselves, will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

He left us a few seasons ago. Then as is usual for most managers he got the sack. So he came back and has done well again.

Got to give them credit, given their circumstances. It's a credit that nearly 7000 fans are travelling 20 miles per game to see them.

Like them or loathe them, they probably play much better football than we do.
Loathe them me. One of those clubs ye despise. Got a bet on with one of the bosses at work.Ive given him a seven point headstart I'm that confident !

Could be good for you, if he feels that he is a better fit there than bigger/better.
He seems to do well with having to sell our better younger players as they come through each season then using about a third of the money coming in from these sales on our squad. But the jury is out in if he is as good with lower restrictions on available funding.

But the best thing is how he sets us up. We have had 10 players score so far this season. We love to attack but are at our most dangerous when defending. And gone are the days of crumbling when going a goal down.

Still confident?

Last game we came back from two goals down against the side who were in second place before the game. And we totally outplayed them.

It is a long hard season in Division 3. The unexpected will continue to happen. But 7 point head start? Only 11 points to make up now then. So only 4 wins with us not gaining any points. We haven't lost a game yet so you will have to go on a good long win streak.

Aye. We've never done that before, oh well, looks like you're promoted already

But who is it that seems to think that they are too big for this division and whose squad is so good that they should walk it?

It isn't us. We are just happy to still have a club to support. Most of us are happy going to old style grounds and having a laugh. If promotion happens then even better. But we don't have the best squad although it is good for division 3. You don't need to tell us that we play in Birmingham. We already know. We are in a shite position ATM. We alsi kniw that. We are run by a hedge fund whi could pull the plug at any time through spite.

But when the game starts it is my club. I don't care who we play or who hates us because of something that happened nearly 50 years ago. I just want to watch us play. End of.

While you're playing well, needing to score 2 or three goals against better teams isn't sustainable, and I'm not convinced by strength in depth. It's a long old season, and teams who start strong don't always last.

Just want to throw it out there as a CCFC fan I was walking my daughter home last year at the home game when 3 of your lot jumped me, all 3 got nicked and lucky for them I'm a decent human and just let them be without pressing charges just had to have my head stitched up but no biggy, had they hit my daughter though then they would of been going to jail.
Absolute drivel.
No mention of arrests outside the stadium.
Spending time making up absolute bollocks on a rivals Web page.
You must be an absolute embarrassment to everyone who knows you

Like many others on here, I am old enough to remember THAT game (I was at Everton that night).
My beef has always been with Jimmy Hill, not CCFC per se.
A hypocrite of the highest order, later listening to him going on about the wrongs/cheating in the game in the full knowledge that he pulled the biggest con trick until the West Ham/Sheffied Utd/Tevez issue, and got away with it due to his connections.
I've been to CCFC a few times over the last few years (I have family who support CCFC) and i said before the season started that you would be contenders.
Whilst we've had it bad over the last few years, you've had/got it worse with little light at the end of the tunnel.
A salutory lesson to all.
It Coul Happen To You.

I'd say most think were too big for this decision.
I'd think most think our squad and manager may not be up to the task.
And I'd think most are pleased that we have a club as we could easily be another Bury if SD hasn't took over.
The problem with a lot of cov fans is that you listen to a few Safc fans who are bellends on social media and brand everyone the same.
One fan posted that he was going to smash the Jimmy Hill garden, and then you have loads of your lads wanting to attack anyone. We certainly didn't have mobs of lads going into your pubs and being aggresive. We didn't have fans throwing stuff indiscriminately at your supporters.

What we have is a massive fan base with a couple of Dick heads on social media who probably don't even go to matches, who then give the green light for your lot to think it fine to actually attack other fans who attend games.
Edit - division, not decision, spell check

I can’t stand Coventry due to the way your fans went on up here last year

I’d imagine i’m not the only one
