At times you just have to hold your hands up and admit you have just been out classed by a superior team .No shame in that even though at times we have made some shocking decisions at times during this series.

The difference is Smith. He's almost an innings on his own.
He's creating scoreboard pressure and we aren't good enough to cope. Players who are good are fragmenting under the pressure. Yes they've played some bad shots but that happens with scoreboard pressure.
I think Root needs replacing as captain. Let him concentrate on his batting.
