Futile unless 90% of the planet basically stop everything and even then we are still going to be screwed by the natural cycle anyway.

It's nonsense. Imho.Disagree. It’s hard to be fully carbon neutral even after lots of lifestyle changes. Not everyone can afford to replace their gas central heating with electric for example. Carbon offsetting has a role to play.
there will be 25000 new deliveroo riders pedaling for a living once the crash out comes,EX nissan workers the NE will be at the forefront of the new zero emissions world, you see we "can do" itPedalled to work last 2 days.
Offsetting the carbon is merely creating the carbon, then paying some third party to plant trees you can't see in the hope that they will plant enough of them.Work or pleasure? If work, ask them to offset the carbon
I use public transport, I recycle, I've stopped at one kid.
This all seems reasonable.
First two are common sense to me and should be standard, so if loads aren't actually doing that then no chance they'll be stopping other stuff. Kids is a personal choice , we actually could do with more babies being born over here, it's the massive African growth that is the problem.

Africa's birth rate will stabalise, just like ours did after infant mortality declined.

great idea, save on the NHS costs, then the £39 billion can go on tax cuts for the high earners like Boris has promised, win win winJust bring excess African babies here. Job's a good'un.

What just take them from their mothers you mean ? The birth rate is showing no signs of decline , it's escalating.
same as the EU contribution, less than a quid a week per person, once the dole ques rise and boredom sets in the birth rate should rise, cum on lads you "can do" itIt's a tiny amount of money in the whole scope of things, absolutely tiny.
No it isn't, across the continent the TFR has been declining for decades. The birth rate is showing no signs of decline , it's escalating.
oldie is preparing for WW3,those germans still divint like us ya knarsIt was a tongue in cheek comment I think
Why do you think we need more babies here?

We're talking about birth rate, not total population marra.'Many consider Africa's population growth a bit frightening, with predictions placing the continent's population at 2.4 billion by 2050. By 2100, more than half of the world's growth is expected to come from Africa, reaching 4.1 billion people by 2100 to claim over 1/3 of the world's population'.
Boris was wrong the lads "cannot do" itTeenage mothers are well down too.
