Donald says 1 transfer incoming could end up being 3

I think we have enough in our squad. McGeady, Gooch, Maguire and Watmore

Also Benji can play there as can Embleton. I even think Hume would be more suited to LM than LB at present.

I'm not convinced Watmore will be available that much and we seem to be freezing Kimpioka out due to contract. Hume can't play on thr wing. He's not creative enough and his delivery is poor.

Embleton has a chance but more of a 10 but where has he gone?

We desperately need a number 10, a strong athletic central midfield player, a pacy winger, a central defender and a left back.

What does Ross want? Three defensive players 🤦🏻‍♂️
Where did 3 defenders come from? I thought Donald said he thinks we'll sign one which night turn into 3 then he said we definitely need a left back, maybe another defender.

I take your points and it's hard to disagree. I just dont like having s bloted squad when there are players who could play there.

Embleton can play both LM and RM, it is strange how hes now been kicked into touch after signing his contract and starting the first game.

Depends if they're good enough

Still think Baldwin has a future here, just lost his confidence that's all
agree

don said three defesive players which is disappointing. we have no one with pace and power in midfield or on the wing to support our forwards and give the team options

We need a left back with some urgency, more so than any other position.

We need a good solid 6ft 2in+ centre half and rid ourselves of two from Flanagan, Baldwin, Loovens.

Then a wide player.

could do with cover at right back is Onien is going to be used in midfield, maybe a loan.

alright saying we don't need defenders after today, but we do - left back and a centre half.

Exactly this.

Wide player with pace, our counter attacks are non existent.

What happened to this 20 man squad Ross wanted. Surely must have 5/6 lined up to go.

Loovens
Flanagan/baldwin
Mcgeough
Robson
Watmore (?)
Embleton (loan)

we're desperate for a LB & another CB as Flanaghan, Baldwin & Loovens are dogshit

I agree we need a left back. I also agree that the 3 players you mention are not upto much either.

My concern is that the recruitment team who purchased those 3 players 12 months ago are the same recruitment team purchasing this new left back and centre back we need.

This 100 per cent, discussed this with kildare recently he stated coton watched grigg loads of times.I said well he needs cataracts removing then.

Loovens and possibly Baldwin’s got to be away if we’re bringing in 3 defenders.

I can see the logic tbh. Need experience across the back if we want to reach our 100 point target - lb, rb and cb.

Agree though that a winger is probably a priority.

LB, Winger, then a RB, then a CB in order of priority would be my shout.

I think O'Nein has established himself now as a RB. That's where hes played his best football for us.
Ideally id like to see his energy in midfield but everytime i see him at Rb he looks more and more at home so perhaps he stays there and we strengthen in the middle.
Leadbitter and Power had good games individually but we still look so ponderous. We need energy in there so as things stand Dobson has to start and i would go and get another of his ilk preferably one who's a goal threat too, Norburn at Shrewsbury would be my choice.
Left back obviously needs strengthening and a cb like Heneghan would be fantastic but someone would have to leave.
After that we're desperate for another winger. Gooch was poor 1st half (he came good 2nd) plus McGeady and Maguire looked shot after an hour but there was no other options on the bench. A left footed winger who can play on either side would be ideal. Maddison obviously fits the bill but Ashley Hunter at Fleetwood would be a younger cheaper option (be over the moon with either).
