WonderfulAnd he's moving to a fantastic city.
That's not his fault! ?I think without Cattermole and Oviedo we will be a bit weaker than last year. Not by me. Complete drain on the club's finances for no tangible return. He used to be good when he played for Everton mind.
100% this. No world beater but a country mile ahead of Hume from what I have seen. Needs replacing.Exactly this.
Was he a world class player? Absolutely no. Was he the best left back at the club? Yes.
We are again weaker.
The missus (no) wants to go there in the New Year. And he's moving to a fantastic city.
Never said it was. That's not his fault! ?I think without Cattermole and Oviedo we will be a bit weaker than last year.
I doubt that. According to Danish media, Oviedo has chosen career over money with this move back to Copenhagen. This looks like a mutual agreement to get him off the books. We paid him off like with Love & Cattermole. JR & BO said as much already
Wish him well.
The posters celebrating his departure will be the first to complain when Hume hits a run of poor form and or we fail to bring in a better left back.
We've just lost the best left back at the club...

Fc Copenhagen is where his career took pace. He knows the club, they him. And the chance to play in the Champions League. This has gotten mutual written all over it.Be amazed if he's agreed to terminate his deal for £0 mind. Doubt we'll ever find out if its non disclosure like Cattermoles
it will be mutual..but that fdoesnt mean he didnt get a payoff..Fc Copenhagen is where his career took pace. He knows the club, they him. And the chance to play in the Champions League. This has gotten mutual written all over it.
mcnulty and embleton have both been signed to be playmakers..I agree with the bits in bold, but there is nothing wrong with being thankful that the club is now (a-lot) better off financially. He was a drain on our resources.
We need a LB and a Playmaker and we're sorted.
Yeah, we were not a better side when he came back in at the end of the season. The opposite, if anything.People are blinded by Bryan Oviedo, the ex premier league full back and current Costa Rica international, rather than looking at how he's performed for the lads.
He was nothing better than average last season and would be absolutely no loss at all.
I'll miss his wife's leather pants; made a 0-0 feel like a home win those things
it's strange that he was offered and signed a contract on this basishe wouldnt have stayed in order to be second choice..
The way he used to dick around on the ball, then get caught, used to piss me off. Kept putting us in trouble. Not a brilliant left back but f***ing miles ahead of Hume, hopefully bring a new left back in soon.
not that he was offered one..we get money for letting contracted players go..it's strange that he was offered and signed a contract on this basis
