I agree, he’s probably the best left back at the club, but if getting him off the wage bill allows us to get in another reasonable left back and someone like Maddison in midfield then I think it’s right we cash in on him moving.

The point being, we’ve literally just been told that we’ve gone from being 72nd of all the league clubs, to the top in year. So we’re nothing like Bolton or Bury, we have a £5mil operating profit come September

It bothered the club. It stopped us buying players we needed. Common sense would tell you that.

No chance we'll pay out on Maddison imo. Sure he's starting contract talks with Peterborough too. Seen their chairman suggesting it.

Not to mention we're terminating Oviedos deal according to JR.

It may not be Maddison but I think we need someone in the midfield who can unlock a defence, hopefully Oviedo going will enable us to do that.
 
Copenhagen. Wonder if we got a fee... or rather more likely, wonder how much of his wage we've been asked to absorb.
 
I'd like to see him replaced ASAP as we're light out there, but Oviedo was frankly a bit shit for us in all three divisions he played in. Surprised either party stuck with one another for this long. Him going doesn't bug me one bit.
 
We desperately need to bring in cover when he goes. I’m not sure Hume is up to it and if he gets injured were fucked
