I was in the same boat as the OP.

Wanted a Sub and ended up buying a Black Bay. Had it a month and sold it cos it’s not a Sub. I just didn’t like it on the wrist that much. I’d honestly save up and buy what you want otherwise you’ll always just keep wanting it.

Might as well save up for the real thing if you're willing to pay best part of 3k for a bonny and clyde

The Rolex Pepsi retails at 6750 but you’ll never see one in a dealership.
Looking at 12k plus for a new one via the grey market.

Only chance you’re catching one retail is if you catch one in a airport somewhere.

Try £7150 rrp and closer to £15 k via the grey market.

As for your comment about the airport, it shows how clueless you really are , not a chance in hell.

So my prices were more or less bang on, which is pretty good for someone whose been out the loop for six months.

Furthermore when I came home from Doha The dealership there had a batman, so ye, make of that what you will.

There’s a whole community of people on the watch forums that religiously pass through airports as a method of picking up these types of watches.

Should have bought it then , you’d have cleared about £5k profit easily.

Show me a link to anyone collecting a Pepsi if it’s not to much trouble, I’ll not hold my breath.

Wouldn't dare wear a £3k watch, especially if drinking.

I've worn mine everyday since I bought it (drinking, swimming, climbing, holidays etc.). I paid just over £3k back in 2007 for it, but having recently noticed the current price it goes for I've purchased a cheap (£40) watch to wear, so I can be a bit more selective of when I wear my good watch.

The price point is splitting hairs , £5k or £7k the principle still applies , show me a watch that sells above list is what you asked , clearly this is one of many that does and it’s nowhere near the £30/£40k level you waffled on about.

The list or rrp is £7150 , the official Rolex dealer cannot sell above list price.

Yes , Northern Goldsmiths do sell at that price , I can prove that they do.

Name any price you want if you want to gamble I’m not telling you facts.
Had my email back from Paul salmon at goldsmiths. There is an extensive amount of people registered for the model mentioned mate. So it wasn’t £5k and you can’t buy it now.

£7150 is the rrp , as I told you before, some of us got on the waiting list and took delivery well before others even thought about enquiring about going on the list.

Early bird and all that ..

I'm sure somebody on here said they have a Root Beer? Be interesting to see more details. Some of them going for silly money
