VAR can't be precise to the mm, there's no debate on that but it can narrow the margin of error right down.

I think it's clear that an offside decision, with many more moving parts in play, officials who might be quite far from the incident e.g. from a 40yd pass, and players going fast enough in different directions to make a metre or more of difference in less than a second, is far better for VAR than whether a keeper is off their line, directly in line with an official looking right at them from ten yards away and nothing else to worry about
 
I’ve watched none of this apart from highlights of the Cameroon’s game

Are England in with a decent shout of winning this?

If that was Mag in defence in a game against us you'd be saying the same thing and happy if the ref didn't give a penna? :confused: I think some people are just moaning for the sake of moaning about VAR
