Pathetic how quickly people have turned against the owners. Yes, it’s disappointing we didn’t go up but f***ing hell man. Embarrassing crack.

I agree. I've been hugely surprised and with that also disappointed with how our fans finished the season.

Interesting to hear people's views on this Methven chap. A proper Old Etonian Tory Thatcherite. Has he been truly accepted?

This time last year we weren't even sure we had a squad. We all know, and the owners will too, that there are things with the squad that have to be fixed, but the baseline is now a season where the initial rebuilding has been done, and we've finished fifth on 85 points. I see no problem in expecting an improvement on that, not on expectations changing over time.

Del Boy and Rodney. Really?
Bloody people are really sensitive nowadays.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Where does Uncle Albert fit into all of this.
With the blow up dolls in back of the van...aka Baldwin and Flanagan!

Are you kidding?? Our checkatrade run had a detrimental effect on pur league form, especially playing catch up. The checkatrade should be binned off

No I'm not kidding. We only finished 6 points off Barnsley, there are many games we should have won way before we got in the thick of the checkatrade and the fixture buildup.

Surely that was the expectation for this year anyways

He's fine mate, people love to complain and because doesn't have an accent, some people think he's fair game. It's rather childish.

Well I can only say I strongly disagree

That's fair enough but had we hung onto the lead against Peterborough, beaten Fleetwood and beaten Wycombe Wanderers at home, we'd have gone up. It really was that close.

We never did though, so you can't say that, the players were always running out of steam after taking the lead. The games in hand we had, we were left with too many in to short a space of time to catch up

I don't think we were. Our fitness was fine against Portsmouth.

I personally if you look at my posts have always kept an sceptical eye on the three amigos firmly believing that if you give somebody enough rope they either make a noose with it and hang themself high and dry or they bild a rope bridge to success........to be honest they have just began to open the plastic wrapper on the spool............so i will give them a couple more seasons for them to show their metal, but the omens dont look good especially with the sheiks buying the unwashed up the road.

But then we had two big games against a physical team in less than a week.
Your missing the point, all the matches in April where we had to play catch up, they were too much, we couldn't do it, if we had just concentrated on the league, we would have gone up.
