Why the fuck? What about those like me who have been at loads of games, away included but god forbid, are on holiday for the semi’s. I am 10,000 miles away, back in Oz for my daughters 21st but will be back the day after the 2nd leg. Oh of course, I should have polished me crystal f***ing ball before I booked my hols, 6 months ago.
It's harsh but I'd probably buy a ticket even if you can't go otherwise you will miss out.

Aye, I think it would be harsh to make phase 2 just for people who went to this one. Plus logistically it wouldn't make much sense, we'll hardly have time for 3 phases as it is! I'd have thought phase 1 = season ticket holders, phase 2 = anyone with purchase history from this season (including Portsmouth semi) and anyone who has joined one of the membership things (international or UK). If there's any tickets left then they could do a phase 3 for people with purchase history before this season, but in reality the first 2 would hopefully get us near to selling out and would mean almost no one missing out
To be honest we maybe put too much significance on the the phases anyway. Pretty much anyone who wanted one for the CAT final could have got one. It went to the last phase and there were batches dropping in as available for a few days after we had announced it as sold out.

I would still argue mate, that the previous ownerships ticketing policy totally fucked up our support. Too many now just expect £10 tickets
100% agree mate....it was a disaster...I know the current regime is changing that but it is going to take years to change the "am only gannin if it's a tenner" attitude amongst some of our 'supporters'.

I hadn’t really considered this argument and reading the above, then yes I’d agree excluding someone like yourself would be harsh.

I can’t believe there are 5000-10000 people who can’t make it though. They are choosing not to go and many of these will want to be first in line if we get to the final.

No disrespect to the OP, but some people will be excluded though - its the nature of limited ticketing. Imo, should we get to Wembley, I believe you should see:

1) SC
2) Memberships
3) Those who went to Pompey home.

In the summer, the club do need to have a think about ticketing policy though

The ground is way too big for us on average.

Should’ve been built at about 35k. Build up the demand so tickets are like gold dust. That’s what the mags did years ago and many up there amongst my friends were reluctant to give up ST’s for years because of it.

Murray was so obsessed at keeping up with the Jones’s instead of investing in the team.
I think 42k was the perfect size....35K maybe bit low.

There'll be less tickets though, won't there? I bet they're almost double the price anarl.

You're a shit fan in my opinion.

I understand that some people can't make it or can't afford it but if you're able to go and choosing not to cause you're annoyed at the ticket price or annoyed we didn't finish top two or whatever then you're a shit fan who isn't really supporting the team.
There’s a difference between ‘fans’ and ‘supporters.’ Fans are people who are defined by “liking” a club, they don’t necessarily go to games and/or pay to watch, anyway. Whereas ‘supporters’ take it further and “support” the club financially. I’m a ‘supporter,’ I have a season ticket and have had a season ticket for years. I spend money to go and watch and ‘support’ the team when they play away from home etc. And, I’ve had more than enough of ‘supporting’ this shit, for this season. I also couldn’t care less what your opinion is.

Exactly, and, if we get there, there will be less interest for this one (it's a much bigger game, but some spent a fortune last time and can't afford now, others just not bothered etc). That's why I don't see the point in multiple sale phases, everyone who wants a ticket will get one. Let SCHs go first just to absolutely guarantee their ticket and so they can choose where to sit (hope they handle that bit better than last time mind, I went on in the first day of sales and there was nowt in the lower tier, then they released it later after we'd already got ours in the upper tier), but then just allow pretty much everyone else who has been this season to order; if we do sell out it will be late on so doubt people who are desperate to go will miss out
