Crowd for sat

The reaction to the price being set at £20 summed up some of our fans.

The pubs in town on Saturday will be heaving and people will be spending greater than £20 watching it on the tele.

So disappointed.

Yet. If we go through, there will be a surge to get tickets for another Trafalgar sq piss up.

We have deserved a lot of credit this season, but we will rightly receive crap if the crowd doesn’t improve.

The ground is way too big for us on average.

Should’ve been built at about 35k. Build up the demand so tickets are like gold dust. That’s what the mags did years ago and many up there amongst my friends were reluctant to give up ST’s for years because of it.

Murray was so obsessed at keeping up with the Jones’s instead of investing in the team.
I've heard Peter Reid say it a few times now (mind it's always been at talk ins so it could just be for the audience). He supposedly told Murray as much at the time not to do it and put the money into the team.

I would still argue mate, that the previous ownerships ticketing policy totally fucked up our support. Too many now just expect £10 tickets

I know it was just the checkatrade but weve had £3 games this season too. Add that to season tickets which work out at say £14 a game n folk think theyre your benchmark figures.
Dont know the answer with a 48,000 ground like.

So let me get this right, up until last night since Sunday we’ve shifted over 18,000 tickets?

Ie about pompeys largest gate of the season.
It’ll top 35k like. Some internet loonies are clouding view of our unreal support.

This is because people are like f***ing sheep. If a group of 6 attend every week and a few of them suggest the town maybe a better option they will all probably choose to do the same thing.
Then you have the shit scared Sunderland fans who are under the thumb and will have to take their orange painted partner round the town on a Saturday night .

I also think its been a very long season, a shit load of games, and it is league one, the enthusiasm has died a bit,

I think the PR has wore off slightly like too personally, I don't even read what the owners say anymore as its just words, not having ago at them, but that part has wore off for me.

Yeah be over 30k for sure

Just wonder if the owners thought we'd be selling out, nae chance like.

Surely people realise that if you get a SC, it works out cheaper than normal match prices? It also has to be said, £20 is pretty good pricing.

f***ing ridiculous.
We've had crowds of over 40k and average 33k in league f***ing one, with the worst ever finish in the clubs history.
Yet you reckon the grounds to big and should have been limited to 35k.

If sales really improve today, then hopefully we will get a decent crowd. I can’t help but feel you will see a similar crowd to the LC semi though

Stewart and Charlie are not stupid. They will be looking at this current fan reaction and learning something from it to go forward with.

They have had some excellent support from fans with changing seats and 46k on boxing Day etc so I'm sure they will be scratching their heads a bit this last few weeks.

It's noticeable that there isn't much being said from the owners this week and the rallying calls , both as safsee media and players and owners is quite muted.

Basically they know the fanbase is pissed off and I guess it's up to them to decide if we are being spoilt brats or they agree that it's not been good enough.

Stewart has said there will be a review at the of the end season. Be interesting to hear what they say if we don't go up.

I'd imagine loads of non-ST holders would have been waiting until today to start purchasing tickets so they have a wider range of seats to choose from. There'll be fuck loads sold today.
