Could have went to spurs but was asking for 20k a week
Snide little fucker belongs in some backwater french team
I will give him a bit advertising on rtg tho
He'd have been 5th or 6th choice at spurs

Selling him cost us top spot.
Set him a deadline to sign up, then the club messed around for weeks. Then waited until the end of the window to overpay for Grigg. The uncomfortable truth.
you really have no clue, carry on slating a 20 year old though who is earning thousands a week and trying to progress his career by playing for a better team than us currently.
Don't think he actively fucked us over, probably was gonna sign then his agent got wind of this Bordeaux move. I'm guessing the owners chose to sell to make sure we get a sell on clause for him, because for the money we got hardly seems worth it and as you say we spent more on Grigg. Maybe he didn't give us an option. What benefit would the owners "spinning it to win the fans over" in this situation achieve? surely them signing Maja would have won the fans over or them spending £3m on Grigg would have won the fans over? One they achieved, one they couldn't.
No reason to believe what the owners said about him, why not? Keith Downie who broke the news via Sky about him not willing to sign the contract also explained it and it and he was the one who first questioned Donald on it, when Donald didn't even know. Why the fuck would he make that up? Obviously the owners have looked to cash in rather than keep him to his contract, so in that respect 'spinning it otu' would suit them, but what would suit them more is not having to fork out another 1.5m than they received on Grigg wouldn't it?

Might have, but given we weren't top before he left or even second IIRC how do you prove it?
Hahahaha aye Bordeaux ?
How better are they than us ?
I'd like to hear this one
better or bigger ? Haway then
6 times French Champions
4 times French cup winners
3 times French league cup winners
Champions league semi finalists, cup winners cup semi finalists, uefa cup runners up all in the last 20 years, and most importantly of all NOT PLAYING IN THEIR THIRD DIVISION.
Not that spectacular considering how poor the french league has been over the years.
Not arsedFor Bordeaux
Hope he has a mare and gets sent off and injured on the way
Am I bitter ? No just don't like him

Maybe not but saying it’s somehow anything other than a good move from the third division to a club playing in their top flight is absurd.
