It doesn’t matter how far you travel, going into a pub 25 times a year is not regularly

Regular tends to me mean on repeat in a pattern .I Get my blood pressure tested regularly ,guess how many times a month ?
I'd say that's canny custom for any boozer these days

That's my point ,the numbers aren't there anymore so that's good going in todays climate .I Go to the same places most times I go out so i'd say that's regular for me and vice versa even at twice a month

Sounds to me like it isn't a w.m. club any more, but a privately owned boozer? If that's the case it probably will close down, cos its old and shabby and there's better boozers to go to. Shame really it used to get rammed upstairs and down on match days, and always had 3 or 4 working the upstairs bar so we always got served sharpish. I remember meeting Reiver and his lads in there years ago, all drinking out of those 4pint jugs, the club always had a money draw and a pint draw, and the gadgey on the mike downstairs announcing spare match tickets as lads turned up with spares. Happy days.

It’s hard to please 400 people all at the same time television are all linked so you change one you change whole pub as for juke box it didn’t pay for its self so why keep things that don’t get used .Wide choice of beers so a tap change is nothing it’s a sign of the times if people support their pubs we can keep lots of things going

Staff in my match day pubs recognise me now.

Surely very few people go to a working men's club more than once a fortnight in this day and age?

Like customers with a bit of banter but just like people to know we are not closing it’s a family run pub but is hard to please everyone at the same time thing do change
