Tell them to keep the car unless they give you it for free....make a killing on this type of stuff garages....this and bloody gap insurance iirc

Got Autoglym Lifeshine hoyed in with mine 5 years ago they reckon it was worth 400 quid but only really lasted about 6 months. Some of the wax I’ve made meself has lasted as long as that

Tdi in Shields done mine using G Technique Crystal Serum - they done a first class job and the ceramic coating has a 7 year guarantee - the results are unreal
just a follow up to this

booked in next week for new car detail and G Techniq crystal serum for the bodywork and a full wheels off sealant for them

he said its nice when people recommend him via word of mouth

Reep in Harrogate. These lads are the best in the north of England.

Get it done properly straight from the garage and you’ll not regret it. Will see if I can hoy some pictures of mine up six months post-ceramic coating at Reep.

Agree that the dealer supplied stuff is a rip off. 500 quid for someone to do a quick application and you get a bag of stuff worth 50 quid tops. I do motorway miles which means stone chips are inevitable so can’t be arsed with detaining something imperfect, just my view. Some sort of exotic fair weather garage queen, I’d put the effort in.

My exotic fair weather garage queen likes this post.

This ceramic stuff. What does it do, and what happens when it "wears off"?
I looked on detailing world, but I'm fucked if I could find anything about it other than what products are best
