Are there actually any Right Wing Extremists in this country? And if so, what actions equate to being an extremist?

Certainly dragging this out for all it's worth. What it has to just do with Sunderland is anybody's guess. Not one UKIP councilor. Just an attempt to put the area down again.

Local media is biased against Sunderland.........AGAIN. Whether its Look North Korea or Tyne tees, they just love running defamatory stories about Sunderland. Quite pathetic really

It really isn't. Jeff Brown, presenter of Look North is constantly banging the drum for Sunderland. Not only on the show but by turning up and supporting nearly every cultural event going as well as presenting and even writing a play about a Sunderland player.
Not the behaviour of someone who is biased against us.
Loads of local media people live in and love Sunderland, I've met many of them and following them on social media backs this up. It would be bizarre to then get into some conspiracy at work to slag off the place they love. I'm still at a loss why local media would choose to alienate a large proportion of their population.

How do you explain a program like the one about to be broadcast tonight then? Based on social media posts - talk about barrel scraping. The number of messages that must be posted every day across the country on Twitter/Facebook and the like must number in the thousands.

I've just been watching the HoP on 'the Sun' live stream and it's full of them in the live comments at the side :)

It's a one off programme on Inside Out which is basically a localised Watchdog show trying to make drama out of not very much. It's on every week and focuses on towns and cities across the North East and Cumbria. It's been going for years, every now and then Sunderland is going to be shown in a bad light because unfortunately, we do have our fair share of knackers who like to make a load of noise.
It's not biased against Sunderland, just a fairly low budget, low rent 'current affairs' show and we happen to be the focus this week.

Edit: Next week is about rough sleepers in Newcastle

while most areas saw an initial rise in race hate crimes following the referendum they did subsequently drop...... however in sunderland they continued to rise. Also the polling figures of extreme right wing candidates in various elections cannot be overlooked.........if it walks like a duck.......

Have you got the figures relating to those?
