throwing up outside The Swan in Market Weston, 18 year old me didn't know how to drink in moderation.

for the 1999/2000 i was in whistler, canada it was fantastic. can't remember the 2001 new year, would have been in sydney at some event. they were all decent around then.

Standing outside the Mother-in-laws with a lump of coal in my hand thinking, what a shite build up to new year it had been.

99 to 00 a house party in ashbrooke, previously left one house party on Stockton road armed with booze, after the host was that monged he was trying to feed people frozen chips.

Are you saying that 99 to 00 wasn't the millennium new year, but it was in fact 00 to 01???

For NYE 1999 (the supposed millennium) I was in the car park of the Grey Horse in East Boldon watching some sub-standard fireworks.

NYE 2000 (the real millennium?) was at Shindig.

Hiding in a secure shelter awaiting the millennium bugs destruction of all life on the planet.

What a rip off that was, we got people into the place where I worked to help us take precautions, so that we went into the the year 2000 as smoothly as possible :lol:

At me nannas watching the fireworks from the front door with her. Still remember it clearly even though I was only 4.

Depends on whether you're celebrating the entering of the new millennium or celebrating the end of the last millennium.

If you think about your birthday you are celebrating the END of that year, like if you are 40 tomorrow, you are actually celebrating the end of your 40th year on the planet, the day after your 40th birthday you are entering your 41st year.
