Then it's absolutely pointless getting promoted, as we'll need to spend more than 1m in the championship.

Short did this, and down we went

Correct, they will be buying free transfers, loans and focusing on youth. Besides the community outreach, there will be nothing different to Shorts era.

I know I was replying to someone else saying he should bin his agent.
I agree to a point if he is paying an agent he is doing that for a reason he must value his opinion.
We will see maybe he will sign.

They obviously have some money, I meant more the owners allow the club to spend money.

Not enough to compete in the championship.

I doubt he's gonna sign. I'm certain we're looking for a replacement or two, since Sinclair was sent home.
I know this is a very long shot, but Janssen has no in Tottenham as it is, season long loan at League One can only be more tempting than U23 for the remainder of the season.

Vincent Janssen who cost Tottenham the beat part of £20M and was a regular starter out on loan to Fenerbahce last season before he broke his leg? That Janssen?

I don’t think he will sign and I have to say IF we offered him what he wanted and he still doesn’t want to sign, then as much as I’d have loved him to stay, he joins the toodles, you don’t want to play for my club then move on group of players.
In my opinion he’s still got a lot of developing to do, he could have done it here and still got his big move a few seasons down the line. He’s at risk, of signing for a club where he sits on the bench or is back in the under 21’s. Neither of which replicates playing for a first team, regularly, in whatever league.
If he moves on, and it works out he’s made the right decision, and fair play to him, if he moves on and it doesn’t work out, he may well drop down the leagues, if he does he will never play for a bigger club in the lower echelons.

He’s not ill. He was at the David Lloyd gym in Newcastle yesterday morning. Obviously wants out and doesn’t give a fuck about us. Good player but unfortunately we need to get rid and just make sure we get s good price for him.

Correct, I dont get the love in with donald on this board
You don't get the love in with the owner who stepped in when we were just relegated to league one, restructured the club to make it financially viable again, re-engaged the fans, backed his manager as much as he wanted, surrounded himself with knowledgable people and safeguarded the future of Sunderland AFC? Me either.

He’s had nothing but bad things to say about them since day 1. When many said we had no idea how it would work out, but we’d enjoy the ride, give them a chance and criticise if necessary, he’s never given them that chance.
