I agree. However if that deadline was private would the agent have called Donald instead of sky? I think so.

Does any body actually know exactly what has happened or is happening. The truth will out when it's all over. Even then I will be doubting what is said.

I can just imagine if no deadline and he left late on in the transfer window. Would have been on here clubs a disgrace and should have gave an ultimatum. I don't think he was ever going to sign. And if he leaves now or end of season thats the way it is. It's no ones fault really.
 
He’s a a London boy and wants to go back home. It’s career suicide for him as with Sunderland he’s the main man and chance of promotion and a cup final. He’ll not have a better chance of legend status.I’m annoyed we didn’t try harder with Stockley from Exeter as us West Country boys rate him. Ross should convert Watmore into a striker as he has all the attributes. Jermain come home as Player Coach. ITHICS.

he failed twice in the championship with two diofferent clubs and had managers who didnt play so its the opinion of industry experts..

I think the whole thing is a complete head fuck. I have a feeling Maja, Donald and Ross may all be thinking the same thing. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this before.

agreement with german club was done at least 4 weeks ago but nothing could be signed until now. now the roof has blown off anything can happen but basic deal is still in agents back pocket

Not as easy as that though. Got to have quality coming in to replace him. Can't see teams just selling a 15 goal striker in January.

Worth noting that Tom Eaves contract is up & he rejected the new deal at Gillingham. They still played him the other day & don't look to be actively peddling him in January. Don't see why it should be any different with Josh

He only made public that the club set a deadline, which makes sense as it's January window. His agent was well out of order going to sky rather than the club.
