So he's gonna move abroad based on what?
Based on some player leicester have tapped up, or moussa dembele who spurs were after and then backed out of the deal
Wow!!!We offered what Maja wanted (probably the agents initial demands).
Maja went to tell Jack Ross yesterday he will sign.
Agent told Maja not to sign and told Sky this without informing the club.
SD has had a go at agent on twitter and said we will aim to change his mind.
If anything, it sounds like an extension to the deadline to me.
Exactly. If you ask for X, are offered X, then decide you want Y at the last minute - then you’ve negotiated in bad faith.
The club needs to tell these people to fuck off. It’s incredibly important. It’s the sets the tone for everything that the new owners want to achieve and how they want to do it. We can’t revert back to “just pay then what they want” at the first hurdle. We just can’t.
Like I said in an earlier post - the message has to be that if you want to take the piss out of SAFC, you’ll need to be waving a CV around with a fuck load more than 15 senior career goals on it.
He was gone when his agent phoned Skysports man ffs.Wake up! Donald slagging off the players agent on Twitter. Hes as good as gone now.
League one to premier is a bit of a step up mate we dont know if he could do it in the championship.I’d presume if he goes to a premier league club he would naturally get more money than a league 1 club would be prepared to offer.
But he isn’t saying ‘give me 30k a week to sign’. He saying he doesn’t want to sign despite the club agreeing to match his request.
I don’t blame any player wanting to leave league 1 for the premier league.
I don't for a fact, but I'm happy to accept our owners recent tweets as being open and transparent
And ppl 20 pages ago questioning why I thought SD tweets are Mickey Mouse.
His tweets turned it into a shit storm in an hour.
No

Check his posting history, seems to have ongoing issues with the owner, like 20+ posts since Christmas about him.He was gone when his agent phoned Skysports man ffs.

Not true like, I've agreed with 95% of what the owners have done.
I think they have made some mistakes recently, doesn't mean I want them out ffs
But just blindly backing every decision is not the way to go forward
I think this has been badly handled, I don't understand why the put a deadline on it, and I don't understand why he tweeted all that nonsense
My view is exactly what Jack Ross's view is
Sorry if that makes me a WUM, a wind up, a mag, "mentalist", whatever you think
In reality I am just a Sunderland fan who doesn't agree with how this has been handled, don't see how that is even remotely controversial
agree it should have been done behind closed doors.
even though we are still trying to get him to sign (rendering the deadline not really a deadline) at least we now know what his position is. we can chase other players whilst still trying to get Maja to sign. if he said 'i'll let you know by the end of January' then that would have been a disaster for us as we couldn't do anything during the window. theres nowt wrong with still trying to change his mind whilst simultaneously trying to sign a replacement.
wish it wasn't all so much in the public domain though. hopefully Stewart Donald and them know what they are doing

f***ing hell man. Is he the only player capable of scoring goals in this league like? Didn't realize Maja was the only player who can. It's becoming a pattern to lose our goalscorer in January.
Our chances of automatic promotion are practically gone.
