My Android is 64gb + 4gb, that's now pretty much the benchmark it seems, as long as you can add a card it should never be a problem. Your spec is slightly better than mine overall, but for £145 including solid screen protectors and case, I'm well happy.
Android 8.0 here is smooth running and it's great having stock android.
What phone is that m8, yeah Oreo is good, only thing I changed on my nokia8 was I changed the camera, didn't like the stock camera so went on xda & got the latest compatible Google pixel camera app, looking forward to see what Pie has to offer?

Means that BT aren't too happy about the spying allegations against Huawei phones,
Sure New Zealand & Australia have banned them over security concerns as well

Yep. Probably easy to do with Android compared to iOS.

hmmmm.. Im due an upgrade on the 29th and was sold on going away from the iphone and changing to Huawei.

The Huawei allegations are politically motivated and primarily aimed at attempting to contain China's economic rise and gaining superior technology markets to the west. It's mass hysteria and there have never been any security issues in the UK with the company.

It's ultimately all stemming from the United States attempting to pressure its allies into taking a harder line on China, which was openly reported in the wall street journal last week. The BT story is also exaggerated, as they will continue to partner with Huawei in other areas of infrastructure including mobile phone masts.

Got a new phone today. Went in the shop looking to get a Google Pixel 3 XL and the guy in the shop couldn't have been more of an arse in putting me off buying one. Was dead set on it too.

Anyway, it was between that and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Opted for the Huawei and after spending all afternoon on it I'm sold that I made the right decision. Amazing bit of kit.

Anyone else on here got one? Any tips or tricks I should know?

What did they say to put you off Pixel 3? I'm after one in January.
