Just got tickets for Newcastle and Manchester. Band that really got me into music and one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. Put on a proper show and if you like the music all the better.

People can scoff and KISS are a money machine but after 45 years they still do it.

After the tour highly likely they’ll end up in a 3 year Vegas residency before KISS 2 is born!
 Give ower man. How? By showing you how it's not done?

Who did you get your tickets through? was it a fanclub presale?

They got me into music too. The cover of Alive II said it all, it was exciting, the spectacle unbelievable and when I put that record on I heard I Stole Your Love. It was fast, raw and energetic. Like nothing I`d heard before. I`m sure manty other people would say the same that they introduced them to music. Even Stevie Wonder, Garth Brookes and Lennie Kravitz played on a tribute album to them. Mike Mcready of Pearl Jam admitted ripping off Ace Frehley solos and so many other bands have cited them as a major influence. Their music is simple and fun. Like them or not, there`s plenty out there that really enjoy them.

I'm a rock fan but Kiss are just one of those over the top American bands that leave me cold. I'm sure they'll put on a canny show for their fans though so hope those that do go enjoy themselves.

It's not for me though and for that reason I'm out.

Snap, Alive II was the album that got me hooked then I worked back over. My brother was into Motorhead who probably had a bigger influence as I got older but Kiss was the band that really got me going. Just simple rock and roll but they do it well.

I love them but I do realise why others may hate them. They are one of those bands that I turn to when I just want to recapture that feelgood factor. It`s good fun, that`s all.

You`re not alone. I think they are a band that you love or hate. I`ll be going with my wife and kids too, so a great night out. They are one of the few bands, along with Alice Cooper and War of the Worlds, where we all go.

I'm on the fence with Alice. Few songs I like but it's a bit too glam for me I think. They had Feed My Frankenstein on at half time on Saturday - me n the lads played that one a few times for halloween gigs.

I do like War of the Worlds mind, never been to see it though.
