Not really. I said earlier on the thread that I use the Hairy Bikers recipe, that has potato in. I tend to use pork not lamb as well as I’m poor.

I always thought in came from alho, which is Portuguese for garlic.

Had the volcanic vindaloo from Morrison’s about 40 minutes ago.

Tasted quite nice. Mouth burnt for 5 minutes or so.

Now I’m replying from the toilet and my ring is on fire, nee shit coming though, just here as precaution

Had the Fiery Phaal on Saturday for lunch (dinner?). Was hot (not insanely so) going in - I apparently was bright red and was sweating from my bald spot on my crown. Felt the glow for a good couple of hours afterwards. The following day's toilet exploits were pretty non-descript. In my opinion, it was a nice hot curry, with some good flavour but no hotter than a vindaloo from a takeaway.
