Charlie on the live streaming to pubs

I remember when I was out of work and on the dole briefly around 2007, I went to a pub in town near the Minster and they had our home match on. I couldn't believe how busy it was, absolutely stowed off. In my defence at the time it was either pay £20 odd for a ticket (with no money for drink) or pay £2 a pint and watch it in the pub.

So you had 1 pint?

Would add 500 on to the gate max. Most who watch in the pub wouldn’t go to the games regardless. Don’t blame the pubs at all for showing the games, the price of the fines they get are absolutely ridiculous aswell. Rich getting richer..

Wasnt Quinny getting slated on here for saying the same?

Charlies turn surely?

Na, he was slated for saying he detested those that sat in the pub rather than going to the game.

I dont fully disagree with either of them but it is a strange fight to pick in my opinion. Pointless spending time wondering why people do things.

So let them watch bargain hunt whilst they're covering up the ammonia smell by eating scampi fries....

Doubt it would be that much, tens, rather than hundreds. I mean they are watching ifollow rather than a decent stream with commentary replies etc.

I see his point but at the end of the day if they get a reasonable side on the pitch then all of this is academic as the ground will be packed, I'd rather they focus on that personally.
