Just because you got bullied by a few 13 year olds doesn't mean a place is 'banjo country' and the residents are scum. You sound gullible as fuck with the bundled into a van for challenging a few kids bullshit as well.

And the decent folk living in Houghton far outweighs the bad ya fuckin' nob head.
 
I did a talk at Houghton Library as part of the Literature Festival last year and only two people turned up.:lol: Ended up being one of the best sessions I've ever done as I abandoned my plans and just had a chat with them and they got to ask whatever questions they liked.
I'm at Washington this year (as well as the City Library) so I'll see if they beat those attendance figures.
