Well that was a long DCL executive meeting tonight Potentially positive news for umpires, a league stance on promotion and relegation, a new outlook on 4 divisions, some interest from the NEDL, decisions made on unplayed games and a final to be replayed with 2 new finalists

From last nights dcl meeting

???? Can you expand further for those not in the loop.

The D&DL finishes next Saturday. Haughton and Raby Castle battling it out for the A Division championship. both good teams, neither looking to move up though. Spennymoor 1sts promoted to the A Division, 3rd place (Cockerton) play 2nd (Haughton 2nds) today with Spennymoor at home to Haughton 2nds next week in a title decider. The top of the C Division is very tight with 4 teams in with a shout of winning it. Persistent rain forecast around Darlington should see some naughtiness today, especially as only the A Division has umpires.

Our 1sts are at Silksworth with Silksworth still needing points to guarantee safety. Obviously Murton need to get a decent win at Peterlee though.

Rest assured Murton lads - we'll be doing our best to help you out.
