I don't doubt you do. However I did say generally.

Down here you have very little chance of getting a gastric band unless you're obesity is dangerous (as in life threatening). But that is academic because it is and always will be an exceptional procedure. We should be getting to people before they get to that stage and it'll save the NHS hundreds of millions in the long term.

My cousin got a gastric bypass and her health went down hill worse than when she was massive. I mentioned it to my doctor and he shook his head saying that out of 4 he'd referred over, 3 ended up with serious complications afterwards. I therefore will stick with good old fashioned diet and exercise.

Well done to cosmopolitan and to the lass, who’s endured a lot of cruel comments over the years.

Hopefully this will let any lasses with doubts about their size feel a bit better about themselves, looks like the fashion industry is abandoning the ‘skinny’ look that’s lead to so many eating disorders over the years.
