Fallout 76

I bet Vault 76 is a f***ing sham, it'll be a Vault-Tec experiment where everything seems Fallouty and then you are threatened at gunpoint to load up a holotape, which starts with a cart trundling down a hill and you bound in the back with other captured criminal, ready for execution.
Suddenly the text appears ' THE ELDER SCROLLS V SKYRIM, PIPBOY EDITION'


Bethesda are basically like a pushy dog show breeder, proudly pushing their pride and joy on stage, but the dog is dead and has been for about 6 years, but they still dust up the remnants every so often and show everyone the apple of their eye, everyone is just to nice to tell them that Todd Howard is certifiably obssessed with Skyrim and to let it die.

Not sure what to make of this, probably just me but its the first time ive seen a fallout trailer and not been excited. Im not particulary into online RPGs as you get ***** playing them and people who live on them. Hopefully the single player is as good as normal.
 
Finally got around to starting Fallout 4 last night - first time i've ever played a fall out game. not bad so far - apart from making me ps4 sound like its ready for take off!!

This. 4 times bigger world than Fallout 4, can still play single player (although how much you can avoid the online aspect is unclear), better graphics, new creatures, entirely new type of surroundings etc. I'm in!

I’m going to play as a miserable owld stealth-hermit with a sniper rifle and avoid all human contact unless I can one-shot them from miles away :lol:

look like there’s a bounty system which could be fun - play like too much of a twat and become most-wanted
 
Four times the size of fallout 4 open world, sounds good to me. I’ll wait to see how the online format plays before casting an opinion ,but definitely looking forward to it.

Aye I'm thinking set up my own little hut in the arse end of nowhere and join up with others when necessary
 
Fallout for me has always been a story driven game with micro details, from computer terminals to the way some skeletons are placed plus it felt in some aspects you controlled the story. A multiplayer like GTA or Fortnite would be a no no for me.
 
The engine, combat and overall gameplay of Fallout just isn't good enough. Without a story it has nothing. The gameplay looked awful based on that trailer. What is the actual point of it? Just to level up and build your town? I see there are super mutants in it which makes no sense lore wise, too.

Todd Howard has said in a few interviews they don’t want it to be griefy. I’m guessing he’s saying you can have some pvp if you want it, but people can’t just wipe you out every five minutes.

Sounds like DayZ kinda thing
Better off working together when you do meet up then going separate ways but also bound to bump into folks who want a fight too
