It is fantastic to have two very ambitious forward thinking people in Management team Jack Ross and visit our exclusive club for a few days. Jack is Manager of the year and first thing he does is get his notepad out

Jack obviously modelling himself on the "Jardine" look. @rocky

Everyone?
OK then, exaggeration on my part there. Not everyone, but a lot of voices aired their expectation with some confidence we'd get rid of the deadwood and go straight back up.

I'm not saying I'm not optimistic, I am, I'm looking forward to seeing what the summer holds and who we bring in. Given what's happened the past couple of seasons though I don't think we're in a position to take anything for granted.

I've supported from afar for the last few years, pedigree brings big egos, stupid expectations, big wages, players here for the dosh, sound familiar, it eventually leads to disaster as you're spending more than you can afford, usually league 1 or 2 before reality kicks in, I'd rather the reality kicks in in league 1, there comes a time when you have to wake up and smell the coffee, I'm happy those off the park can smell it, time for some in the stands to take a big deep breath and get onboard.

It doesn't really matter what level you think the Scottish Chamionship is, there are good players and managers at every level, you just need the eyes to find them and the baws to go and get them.

Absolutely nailed it with this post.

Seen St Mirren 3 times last year as I follow Dunfermline Home & away most weeks. Pumped them 3-0 first time but never really looked like getting much in the next two games. Scored one of the best goals I saw all year at Dunfermline in absolutely shite weather conditions on a Friday night game.

He seems to have something about him as regardless of the standard of football the Scottish championship is no easy league to get out of especially by early April.

Welcome.

It's good to have someone young , who hasn't failed, and who has relevant experience of turning a club around.

A positive appointment, made within a very short time period so credit to Donald.

Things happening swiftly and with authority. A complete overhaul was needed and that is exactly what they are delivering. Genuinely excited- roll on the new signings!

Far from it, I'm a happy bastard that looks at getting over, under or around hurdles, I'm on here because I knew some would be saying who the fuck is Jack Ross, mickey mouse football etc etc etc, I'm excited, you should be as well, none of watching that Moyes shite for a wee while thankfully.
Mate I’m chuffed with what this lad looks like bringing to the party.
Winds of change. Long overdue.
Class.

Cracking post marra.
Sums up how I feel very eloquently.

Yeah I know but different leadership. When we brought Keane in under Drummerville it was different. Had the feel good factor, the big name and big budget (comparatively) was attracting the players and it took us to the title.

I'm not writing Ross off and I think we'll probably win the league but at the same time im really not sold on the success in the Scottish lower leagues transferring over the border

And started the debt problem we've just got rid of. Debt rose from £34m to £96m in two years.

Just realised we cant really sing "Jack Ross' red and white army"

Or could we sing it with out the 'es' on the end of Ross? Or would that sound daft?

First world problems.
